Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Bristol

There was some fluid on the floor under the table, now we all have sticky shoes. the server "thought (we) had paid and were chilling" with 3 kids, when in truth we wanted dessert and more drinks. My brisket quesadilla, was supposed to have jalapeno in it. When I looked at it after the first slice, I found quite literally 1/2 of one pickled jalapeno, in one piece of it. It was very little brisket in it at all, and it cost $17. The kids mac and cheese is a step DOWN from Kraft mac and cheese, my kids who love mac and cheese did not eat it. The adult mac and cheese was slightly better, and the fried chicken strips were pretty good. The broccoli as usual was awesome, which is why food rating is three stars. The table next to us got fed up with the server not attending to us and they skipped out on the bill. Yes, it was wrong, but I get it. Another table at a high top was so mad at the waitress, they left her zero tip. When she talked to her manager and told them that she forgot about us, we were supposed to get some form of discount. I guess we did, we got I think $8 off. We were literally sitting for 45 minutes with no contact from the waitress. We watched her running from table to table in different areas. Very bad experience. We’ve been happy at this restaurant for years. Unfortunately today in this day of Covid and Ct. positivity rate at 20% our waitress showed up to take our order without a face mask. Very irresponsible. We ordered nachos and guacamole. I should of ordered chips with guacamole. When the order came wrong I told maskless waitress that it wasn’t what I wanted, instead of trying to fix my order she stood strong on the fact that it is what I ordered. When I tried to describe what I wanted, just simple nacho chips and guacamole she acted like she had no idea of what I was talking about and told me she can’t read my mind. She sends the manager out and instead of trying to figure out how to satisfy their customer. He approached table without face mask also. He put his hands on end of table. His shirt was extremely dirty from wiping his hands on it. He told me he came out to make sure nobody is cursing at their staff. I told him nobody cursed and asked for a check for the sodas. He walked away. We left. As we were leaving I had an opportunity to approach manager and tell him that he did nothing to make the customer happy. went here for dinner with the family on valentines day it was quite disappointing we ordered hamburgers medium well they came out well done and 1 was burnt other meal was a chicken sandwich to which was buried in a special chillis sauce which turned it soggy and uneatable waiter was really good all around he offered the manager over he came and seemed uninterested and unapologetic after I asked him if the cook new the different types of burgers and how they were made he did not know himself his idea of making it up to us was 3 15 dollar gift cards there were 4 of us and our meals were over 12 dollars each I wasnt looking for anything from him at all to be honest just a I basic explanation I told him I know the process and would never send the food back considering we were hungry and it was dinner time and medium well with pink is not what the food on my or any of our plates was manager looked like a guy they got off the street picking trash but if thats what chiliis does oh well tried to use the gift cards to pay they didn't work that was hilarious I actually gave then to people outside coming in to eat and wished them luck so thank you chillis for an overpriced really uneventful meal never again chili's...
