12/21/24 UPDATE: It seems this place now has security measures in place. Why? You are not actually a bank! My boyfriend was frisked, and my purse was thoroughly searched. Honestly, that’s a dealbreaker for me when I just want a nacho and a drink. On top of that, the food quality has not improved, and the atmosphere has completely changed. There was a DJ, and the overall vibe feels entirely different compared to just a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this place—it’s a firm "no" from me now. OLD: I stepped into the grandiose ambiance of this former bank-turned-bar, a place brimming with potential and a touch of nostalgia, thanks to the preserved old vault—a masterstroke in blending the old with the new. The service? Absolutely top-tier, a shining beacon of hospitality. However, the culinary offerings leave much to be desired. The Buffalo chicken dip was reminiscent of a culinary disaster, more akin to microwaved cat vomit than a savory delight. The Cheese Curds, while decent, were let down by an uninspiring, flavorless dipping sauce. The Poppers, regrettably, were standard-issue, frozen fare, lacking any pizzazz. The Patty Melt, ordered medium rare, arrived at the table overcooked and well-done, a disappointment for any burger aficionado. The Mac n Cheese was another letdown—bland and mushy, failing to deliver the comfort food experience. The Bourbon Steak Salad was a mixed bag; while the steak was commendable, the dressings were a trio of mediocrity, and the salad itself was a meager assembly, scarcely adorned with blue cheese, tomatoes, and bacon—far from impressive or flavorful. As for the libations, the beer and drinks were merely average, offering nothing unique that you couldn’t find at any other establishment. In summary, this ornate bar, housed in a grand old bank, offers an underwhelming culinary journey that doesn’t quite command a return visit.

Disappointing food and drink for how beautiful the building is. Cocktails: Lemon Drop barely tasted like lemon, Whisky Sour was below average and served full of ice which a proper one isn't. Food: The pizza was the first time I didn't want to finish eating a pizza. It tasted like grease and bad quality cheese, and the crust tasted frozen. It also wasn't a margherita like the menu said. The teriyaki wings were good, though. Staff: Shoutout to Jaimere who was kind enough to take the pizza off our bill. He didn't have to do that and I appreciated the gesture. Overall staff were friendly and generally attentive. I have no plans on ever coming back. Real waste of such a beautiful space. Go to Main Street Pint & Plate right next door - better food and drink by a long shot.

I don't understand the negative reviews for this place. Its a cool old bank building converted into a sports bar. Our waiter was great. Very friendly and quick. We got pickle fries for an appetizer. Basically fried pickles cut into thin strips. I don't normally like fried pickles but these were delicious. I ate a bunch of them. I got a chicken potato bowl. It was really good. But it was huge, I ended up eating half of it for dinner later on. It was still really good reheated. The wife got a burger that she said was delicious. And it was cooked perfectly. I look forward to going back.

They took a historic building and turned it into a beautiful pub. It’s very spacious which is nice.

The food was less than desirable - edible but eh. For apps we did Brussels sprouts, pickle fries and pretzels. Sprouts - eh they had a big opportunity to make this a yummy dish. The bacon topping was very soggy and the sprouts were equally soggy. The pickle fries were good. But my table agreed that some tasted like pickles and others didn’t. Pretzel bites - yummy but only four.

I ordered a burger w tots. Sadly my burger reminded me of a burger I bought at Lake Compounce - dry small and edges were burnt when i asked for a medium burger.

My drink - ordered a White Russian and they didn’t have milk and asked if ok for cream. The real way to make it is w cream It was ok but nothing like wow.

Service - server was nice but forgot our tables drinks at one point. But it happens. She was very nice and made rounds to ensure all was ok

Price - your paying for the atmosphere and def not food that makes you come back or the drinks

Overall - nice play to meet w friends/family regarding the spacious room. Food was not warm when they came out. Drinks were eh. Service was pleasant and parking is a plenty.

I prob will not make another visit but hopefully they get a better idea on how to keep food hot and drinks key.

Drinks equal longer stay which equals spend more. That was the case here...

Curb Appeal: It's all about first impressions. Does the restaurant exterior look inviting? Is it well-maintained and visually appealing? Does it make you want to step inside?

Ambiance & Atmosphere: How well the restaurant creates a desired mood or experience. Consider the décor, lighting, music, and overall vibe. Does it tell a "story" and set the stage for a memorable dining experience?

Menu Originality & Concept: This is the most difficult criteria. In a world where everything seems to have already been done. Does the menu feature creative dishes or interesting takes on classic fare?

Presentation & Plating: How are the dishes presented? Is the food arranged attractively on the plate? Does the presentation enhance the dining experience? The dining experience had minor issues with the drink portions that were fixed on the next round.

Cultural Relevance & Impact: Does the restaurant have a place in the community. Does it contribute to the local food scene? Does it reflect cultural trends or traditions? Does it have a lasting impact on diners? Does the restaurant have a clear and compelling identity?

Sincerely, a great night, with great service, food and drinks. Thank...
