Please change your delivery service set-up, it is extremely frustrating. The delivery price is steeper than most online platforms ($7) not including tax and tip, no actual coupons can be added, ever, although that option is visible. We end up paying nearly $20 more (almost double the subtotal) than in-person for the minimum order total. My partner is disabled and cannot drive, my work hours don’t always allow me to drive to your establishment. When an issue occurs we are unable to have it resolved due to a loophole in how your website is set up. You have your own site while somehow still using DD delivery services as your drivers, DD doesn’t take responsibility for any food damage as they don’t have the order in their records due to the fact that you use a separate site host to bypass this. It doesn’t matter when you offer them the order ID number, since the order was not made through the DD site, they won’t take responsibility for it. You are not set up on the actual DD site, DD subscribers cannot order from your restaurant through the DD site, you do not show up in the DD search. This brings about a lot of confusion. Your restaurant says DD is at fault, DD says the restaurant is at fault, back and forth, like children. I really struggled with this rating — because honestly, the food and service are both fantastic. The smoothies? Absolutely delicious.

But I can’t in good faith give 5 stars for one big reason: sustainability.

If you’re branding yourself as a top health food provider in the area, part of that responsibility includes sustainable practices. And using polystyrene containers and an abundance of single-use plastics feels like a contradiction to what a healthy, forward-thinking restaurant would promote.

If other places like Playa Bowls have made the shift to fully compostable containers, recyclable plastics, and eco-friendly utensils, it can be done. So the question becomes — does Pure Foods truly want to lead as a health-conscious, community-minded business? Or is that just part of the marketing?

If they make that shift, it’s 5 stars all day. Until then, it’s hard not to see...

foods insanely good and one of the only places my boyfriend can get a cheese burger but this is the second time i’ve tried to come and they’ve closed early with no notice. i tried to order online and it wouldn’t place despite it being 4:05 and they close at 5. so i went to the store instead as it’s only 20 mins down rt 6 with traffic and every single red light. got there to an open sign light up but a paper note on the door saying CLOSED AT 4:30. it’s 4:30 and their open sign is on. idk just an L for me i guess but now i’m annoyed and hangry. def should’ve posted this on their website or something. instead of allowing me to add items to my cart and have it say “order pickup at 4:35” and then suddenly just a memo saying not accepting orders at this time. like of course im gonna go drive there with an hour before closing not just give up. but only to be...
