I have patroned this Wendy's for many years at many times and have been mostly satisfied throughout. However, the past 2 times I have visited I have had the misfortune of noting one manager in particular that does not uphold the values for which Wendy's stands. Each time, manager Michael has been running an absolutely chaotic shift A shift where patrons are not served in a timely manner, employees are not adequately supervised and food quality and accuracy suffers. Tonight I had to wait in line for approximately 10 minutes before I was addressed to take an order, while most of the employees stood at their posts in a state of confusion, and others were running around trying to fulfill obligations for multiple stations. All the while, manager Michael appeared to prioritize flirting with the female employees, instead of providing the exceptional customer service for which this Wendy's was PREVIOUSLY known. Additionally, I ordered my salad without tomatoes. However, after finishing approximately 1/3 of my salad I found a tomato within it. Many of the aforementioned items could have possibly been overlooked. Though the position that was taken by Michael in this situation cannot. I asked Michael to step off of the line with me out of ear shot of the many customers who were standing in line to be served and proceeded to bring the situation to his attention. Highlighting how it could be a life in death situation, given tomato allergies. Unfortunately, Michael could not seem to own the problem. Instead he wanted to make excuses as to why this situation was understandable in his head. Firstly he told me that the salads we're pre-made in the morning. While I was agreeable to the fact that most of the salads are pre-made in the morning, he and I both know that items like this that are ordered without highly allergic ingredients such as tomatoes, are to be made fresh. I also expressed that I feel if the team was being led properly they would be following these processes, rather than picking such items out of pre-made salads to serve to guests. Next Michael wanted to inform me that he had not been there long tonight. At which point I let him know this was irrelevant given that he was the manager on shift when my salad was made. I also informed him that every time I have patroned that facility on his shift it has been a "shi* show" and that he needed to focus on leading his shift instead of flirting with the girls. Michael could only tell me that what I was saying was not true. To me and I think to Wendy's, this is unacceptable leadership behavior from a manager and I would greatly appreciate knowing that this matter has been tended to and a follow-up as to how so. Thank you in advance to your prompt and adequate attention in...
Read moreTotally incompetant employees and manager! Wait until the realize door dash accepts pickup orders. The Wendy’s site was down so I ordered our pickup order through door dash. They only option was the drive thru since the lobby was closing soon. Placed the order, waited for the order to be completed, drive to the drive thru, and they looked at me like an idiot when I said I had a mobile order to pick up. It went through 4 people and then a so called manager who walked straight up and said “What’s the problem?” I said I’m trying to simple pick up my food that has been paid for and ordered. The food was sitting right there, they refused. Told me to go back through the drive thru and then to come in the lobby and check the food out on my app. What app? I said I had to choose to pick this order up in the drive thru which is exactly what I’m doing. Then the manager says she doesn’t have an order. Then she says the order is door dash they will deliver it to you with a snarky attitude and grin like I’m an idiot. No you are the idiot, door dash accepts orders for pick up by the customer. She argued that door dash had to pick it up after I told them 100 times I am not door dash! They refused to hand me the order so I guess the employees, who after seeing them and their common sense I’m glad I didn’t get the food, were wanting free food tonight. So someone please inform them how door dash works, customer service, and make sure they aren’t drinking the...
Read moreBEWARE WENDYS ON VOLUNTEER PARKWAY! Ordered a jr bacon double cheeseburger plain in drive thru this afternoon. Opened it up to see a sandwich that had been doused in condiments, but wiped off. Like very clear chunks of mustard rubbed into the buns and beef patties. Talk about gross, unprofessional, and unhygienic! Who in their right mind thinks this is acceptable?!? I went into the lobby to get my sandwich replaced and there were flies everywhere. The manager walked in from smoking outside, didn't wash her hands, looked over my crusty burger and was unapologetic and unsympathetic. My replacement "food" came up and boy am I glad I checked it before leaving the store. No bacon! Finally got a new sandwich, 3rd try, and it was still supbar. The bun was hard, cold, and stale. 3 strikes, you're out. I won't be back. Oh yeah, the manager took back the previous 2 messed up sandwiches. Instead of tossing them, I wouldn't be surprised if she dusted them off and tried to sell them to another customer like what they did to me the first time. No smiles, no sorrys, no customer service....
