The Fruit Stand — Restaurant in Broadview Heights

Simple concept but great follow through! For a simple fruit and smoothie place when you put all the options they offer it makes a delicious and nutrious bowl of awesomess! I've had many different kind of granola over the years but the birthday cake granola they offer is 100/10 delicious! I also chose local honey which was heavenly with almond butter drizzle. They let you choose 1 out of the 2 bases as your smoothie or you can twist them. I chose to twist them and it was perfect! You also get to choose 3 different fruits, one crunchy topping and a drizzle. Ofcourse you can pick more but it cost extra but so worth it! I much rather have this than frozen yogurt or any other dessert. The portions are very generous too! I chose the small and couldn't finish it. I love the fruit stand unfortunately this past experience that I just experienced was not delightful. I walked in excited to get a fruit bowl, there were 2 girls behind the counter neither one of them spoke, welcomed me or acknowledged me. They proceeded to talk to the customers at the counter, and then when 2 more guys walked in after me they greeted them welcoming them into the store. I am a woman of color and to say at the least i felt very discriminated towards. I was very uncomfortable and just didn’t feel welcome or no longer happy to be in this establishment. I proceeded to leave. being that I have worked in customer service before I have always treated each customer respectfully and equally. I will not be going back to support this location. The fruit stand is an amazing smoothie bowl place. It has the Chipotle serving assembly line style which is amazing and Henry Ford proven for success.

The fruits are as fresh as is available in the local grocery stores. The place has some seating and you can hang out while you eat your order or just get it to-go like I did and they put a nice lid on your bowl. You know...I don't remember seeing kiwi...but I bet they had it and I just missed it...but that just randomly popped in my head now hahaah. Definitely not a make or break for this place.

Highly recommend.

Prices are reasonable for the current state of food prices in the States being that you can literally walk in and out with your order in 5mins...very nice.
