I recently dined here for the first time after being diagnosed with a gluten allergy. It was the first time I went out to eat for over a year. I ordered a sushi roll that did not say it contained anything deep-fried or gluten on it however, when it was brought to me, it had deep fried breaded topping on the top of it. I was very careful not to order wheat when I read the menu. I told the server that I couldn’t have it and if she could have it remade without it and she was very rude to me because I didn’t tell her that I had a gluten allergy and gave me a lot of attitude. I just got diagnosed and I didn’t know I should’ve told her and I apologized for the inconvenience. She then proceeded to tell me to try a piece of my friends sushi and that it was okay for me to eat. She waited till the very end of dinner for her to me that my friends dish had fried wheat ingredients as well. I don’t understand why she would tell me to eat it, then wait 20 minutes later inform me that I couldn’t. All while being incredibly rude. I’ve been incredibly sick because of it and threw up on the car ride home. I have worked in the restaurant industry before and telling someone that a menu item is safe to eat after they tell you that they have an allergy is unacceptable. I regret not getting her name to report this incident to the manager. Terrible service and they don’t follow what they write on the menu. Would not...

Got their early, around 5, and sat at the sushi bar. Peter, the Sushi chef, immediately offered us a handroll appetizer- Excellent. Peter has been a sushi chef for 15 years, he and Angela recently moved to Broadview Heights- very nice people. We decided to let Peter, and Angela ( his wife, both from China) tell us what to try.
Amazing dinner-highly recommend doing this if you like real sushi You'll get nothing but the freshest, and will probably find new favorites. Everything was fresh, great balance of flavors.Had a daily special, a yellow tail with a citrus based sauce- absolutely perfect, beautiful presentation, tasted even better. Can't remember everything we had, but all was top notch Had several pieces of hamachi, salmon, snapper, and mackerel, all perfect Had an excellent sake as well Finished with a delicious ice cream dish.
I just got back from Vegas, where I ate at top notch nationally known restaurant , Kabuto, that gets it's fish flown in daily from Japan Feng LZ was very close in quality and flavors. That's saying something! Very happy to find this gem in our neighborhood, We will all be back soon.

Read moreSo I'm in Cleveland for business from Detroit. Googled spots for Sushi. I was just looking for a quaint sushi bar with good Japanese food. A ton of Hibachi Grill spots popped up. Nothing sparked my interested atmosphere wise. Looking for booths and cozy. Found this place and saw they had booths and a nice assortment of sushi on their menu. Figured I'd drive down from my Hotel in Independence and give it a shot. Plus they had really great reviews. They did not disappoint. Once I walked in I was pleasantly greeted. My server was super nice and attentive. The jasmine green tea was delicious. The tempura udon was really good quality and quantity. The tempura on the shrimp was really good. Plus I got 4 rolls and they were a nice size! They don't skimp on the fish size or avocado. I was really impressed. Plus I love their rose napkins and the flowers that came with my sushi. It was a super nice experience out by myself in a city I have never been too. I felt safe and cozy. Plus the restuarant inside is so cool looking. I'm absolutely shocked it wasn't slammed in there. If this was in Metro Detroit I probably would of had to wait for a table. Because it is that cool. Open one in Metro Detroit!!!! I'll be there a lot. Hahaha! Thank you for the great service and delicious food. My new staple for Japanese when I come...
