Myself and a couple of friends were in this establishment on Sunday, and it was an extremely disappointing experience. We had just come from a hike not too far away and were famished, so we chose a place close by. We were seated promptly and waited for our server.
About 15 minutes go by until our server approaches the table, Kaylee was her name (not that she introduced herself). She didn't say hello or apologize for the wait, she very curtly asked us what we wanted to drink. Maybe she was having a rough day, maybe she had several tables. Fine. But her service throughout the rest of the evening was the same way. She never smiled or said your welcome when we said thank you, she never asked us how the food was, her only goal was to provide us with the most minimal amount of communication. Even the food runner (that was at the table for about 6 seconds) was more pleasant than Kaylee.
Maybe she was judging us base on our post-hike, disheveled appearances, or maybe she was just having a bad day. But I can assure you that she couldn't have been that busy since she was at the front counter chatting with the hostesses when we left.
Upon leaving, I asked the hostesses for a manager's card, and to their dismay they had no idea what that was. I told them it was a business card with the manager's contact information, like most restaurants have at the front counter. Kaylee was so gracious enough to inform me that we could go online if we needed to contact a manager, since she was already standing there throughout this entire conversation.
So here I am. Before leaving I asked one of the hostesses what the name of the manager was and she said "Joe". So Joe, I hope this is not how you treat most customers at your restaurant.
On the positive side, the food was very good, but it is not good enough to set aside the horrendous service we received. My regards to the chef's on duty that night, they saved the evening and is the only reason why I gave it a 2 star...
Read moreMy husband and I used to be frequent loyal customers that would dine in and order multiple appetizers, a few different cocktails, and a meal each visit. Needless to say, this place has gone downhill quick and we will not be returning. At our most recent visit we asked to be seated for a patio table. We were seated and waited for twenty minutes for a server who failed to show to our table. TWENTY minutes. We should have left after ten minutes.
Since it was a Friday evening we figured we would give a little grace period, even though the the patio was not completely full and tables were still available. We noticed two younger adult servers during our time waiting who were both taking care of other patio tables directly around us. One of which was seated after us. Both of the young servers walked past our table multiple times and failed to even acknowledge our existence.
My husband and I decided to leave and we were not happy. I spoke with the very young adults at the host stand who seem to all be running this restaurant now and informed them of the situation before we walked out. The lack of communication skills was extreme for both of them and quite honestly embarrassing. They both looked at each other as if neither of them knew how to handle the situation properly.
Overall, our past few times of dining in the service has been extremely slow and every waiter has had an unwelcoming attitude. The food has also changed- fries are always completely overcooked and dry, the chicken in the chicken wraps tastes like five day old reheated chicken in a microwave, the steak and eggs on one of my steak salad take out orders was completely missed.
This place NEEDS to do better and this place NEEDS better...
Read moreMy fiancé and I ate here last night for date night. I can't tell if it's gone downhill since we've last been here or if it was just a bad day?
It wasn't very busy for 6-7pm on a Saturday at all, but our service was actually terrible! Our server (didn't mention her name to us) took 10 mins to even show up at our table after we sat down. After getting waters and ordering an app, we waited another 10 mins for our alcoholic beverages. App came out decently fast but then waited another 30 mins for our food to come out. All that time without being asked if we wanted more to drink or to even apologize about how long it was taking. She was literally nowhere we could even see. She finally came back maybe 5 mins before our food came out (so that's 20-25ish mins from the last time she came to the table) and I ordered another drink. She rang in a drink I didn't ask for but that's the drink the bartender(?) delivered to me and I was told "they probably didn't have a button for what I wanted so this is close enough" and it wasn't even the same color as my drink would be nor did it taste the same. As far as the food goes - the Irish nachos were decent, my burger was so greasy that I couldn't eat the second half of it, my fiancé said his ribs had a weird texture + tasted old or like they'd been sitting. After we ate and even asked for boxes, we waited another 15 mins for her to come back to ask about a check. I mean really we spent most of the time waiting around and looking for our server! Overall we're pretty upset we spent $90 and almost an hour + a half of time for a terrible experience. Unfortunately I'm not so sure we'll be back again...
