**Update 5/14/2019 Change to one star! The server was ultimately rude, no class, customer service wack. Not sure if she was having a bad day but boy she did not like her job today. No eye contact, not even a thank you. I asked if they changed owners and she wasn’t thrilled of answering that question. Shame. 😕

Update: Was here yesterday 8/22/17 Changing from 4 stars to 5.

We went here at 2p, the place was quiet. People came in and out occasionally but foot traffic was low - non peak hours. The cashier was pleasant, and was very courteous. I had ox tails with white rice & side of plantains and my daughter had curry chicken. The portions are just right! Your money's worth. The oxtails is succulent and the gravy was superb. Curry chicken was too bold to my tasting, too Curry-ish, I made that up, lol. My daughter seems to like it tho. In a plate you get rice, choice of rice & beans or white rice. A side, choice of mac&cheese, cabbage or plantains.

The place is cozy, clean and organise. They take credit cards and they have the latest technology with their ordering system. You can either sit, but not sure if they take your order if you sit in, or you order in front and just find yourself a seat. However it is, Im sure they would not have a problem accommodating you.

My 11 yrs. old daughter's review: I like the decor and the comfortable seats, the tables are clean so is the floor. The bathroom is OK but not disgusting, the food was great and so was the cashier! 😁

Will I come back?...

This was my 3rd time at this place the food has always been good I ordered a large for the 1st time the other 2 times a small I had more meat both times on the oxtail dinner on the smalls that I did this large. Although the food was good I was so upset if I would have checked my food before I left the restaurant I wouldn't gave it back and told him to keep the money I'm so upset because I was looking forward to a good dinner today. Instead they gave me something smaller than the small I've only been there 3 times and both times I got a small oxtail this time I got a large and involved the smallest that I got I got and a bunch more meat in both of the small oxygen orders I don't know what was going on today but they get a thumbs down for me. Unbelievable and I spent $40 because I bought a meal for someone else unbelievable Here's a picture of the meal short of some of the rice and put all the rice in the plate because there was so much rice unbelievable they looked like 2 and a 1/2 oxtails and they were at best maybe 3 in a large oxygen unbelievable couldn't never get my business again and I will make sure anybody I know when everybody I know and brought you a far away from that place. Sucks food taist good but this in unexceptable. I just finished food as good as it was it was straight robbery!! 2 be I hope it was a mistake. The food tasted great. But noway would what paid for large oxtail n except thT proportion!!!!!!!!!!...

I have been there a few times the food is amazing. It's seriously at 10 out of 10. I think this restaurant could be something more than just a little shop. But they only have 80% of their menu available. Anytime you go there, they only have 20% of what's on the menu, and when you do ask for more Items, they'll just let you know. They have it and they won't let you know what you could substitute it with. It's very basic. I would say and the customer service, it's just non-existent, you get some of the rudest people there giving you attitude even when you're just asking them to do their job and plate your food and see what they have other than people. What's shown? And most of the time now, this stuff isn't shown so yeah, you would want to reference something but they don't they just look at you with an annoyed face and expect you to know everything on the menu. It is right in front of you though, so you can read it. But in those quick seconds It gets frustrating, especially if you're new, but someone that goes there a lot. I know what I want every single time and they never seem to have it. I don't know why they have amazing food. Horrible customer service, the ambience. There is actually kind of nice.
