Mee King Garden — Restaurant in Brockton

I had MANY fond memories of Mee King growing up.. especially on New Years Eves with my family. Those wonderful memories from 30+ years ago are the ONLY good things remaining from Mee King. I was bragging about Mee King being the BEST CHINESE FOOD IN MASS to my family, so we planned it out & ordered our Christmas Dinner from Mee King. Boy, oh boy, did Mee King make me look like an IDIOT !!! The rice was at LEAST 3 days old. It was passed the point of being congealed. It was breaking down into a gummy substance on a molecular level. The chicken wings were frozen & thawed multiple times, the beef teriyaki was hard as a rock, the crab rangoon were utterly poisonous & smelled RANCID I'm sorry if I ruined your appetite, but YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS SO YOU CAN AVOID EVER GOING TO THIS MEE KING EVER IN YOUR LIFE !!! It breaks my heart to say this, but MEE KING MUST BE SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD !!! I love this American Chinese restaurant. The best tasting food, except for food ordered for December 31. Somehow the influx of too many calls from people tends to decrease the quality of the food. On a regular day, other than December 31, the food taste good and with flavor. I went today. December 31, 2021, and placed the order in person. I was told it will take one hour wait. I waited. 40 minutes waiting I went in and the food was ready. I got home and the food was cold to the touch, no flavor as usual, the rice wasn't the same, the sauce in the Szechuan shrimp was too watery, everything was cold. Wasted my money. Very disappointed. I grew up as a kid eating Chinese food from this place. I talked about this restaurant ro friends and family for years and said when I come back to brockton that's the first place I wanted to spend my money. I finally got Meeking and boy was it sad. The rice was overly saturated with soy sauce it was like the rice was burt or just not made right. The chicken was under cooked and they were very large chicken wings and it makes me think was I eating chicken.
