As a general rule, I try not to leave negative reviews for businesses owned by people of color because there are already so few of them in America. However, I am compelled to express my frustration with how club promoters often exploit the door policy at 2-tiered night spots in urban America, which could potentially be 1-tiered night spots. Many of us see the advertising that says entry is free before 11 pm. So when I arrived at 10:15 pm, I was surprised to be told by the lady at the door that it was still $20. I noticed other people walking away while waiting in the parking lot for my family. Although the club looks nice inside, it is far from the standard of VIP downtown Las Vegas clubs. I rate it 3.75 stars out of five. The staff there are fantastic and deserve five stars for their service. I will also tip them well and will buy drinks and food when we come out. However, charging $20 per person to hang out for a couple of hours at local spots, and sometimes even $50 for local artists, is ridiculous. I don't have an issue with gratuity being added to the check because some people don't understand that wait staff get paid by tips. If folks ordered $500 worth of drinks all night, they should tip more than $5. But nothing justifies the $20 cover charge for local DJs and unkempt bathrooms. It's unacceptable that no one came into the bathroom to change the trash. Also, if you want to be a high-end night spot, you should have automatic soap dispensers, not Walmart hand pumps. The establishment owner should consider whether it is worth having promoters turn away business and leave the place most nights half empty. I'm not a mathematician, but having a full place will generate more money. Keep the gratitude. YOUR STAFF IS AMAZING. However, I suggest you rethink your promoter's policies. Also, the night food needs more variety. The appetizers were fresh, but chicken wings, chicken fingers, French fries, and patties are essential for nightlife. by the reviews most agree your in house staff 5 stars, but the bathrooms need adjustments during events or afterhours. so that the prices reflect the experience thank you and will bring more people. brockton is not washington dc, nyc, or LA lol most places the prices reflect the demographics... for folks who want those experiences they are not hanging out in brockton lol they are headed to logan airport i have seen "events" for 100 dollars in the brockton area and go by the lot it is empty.. one day these places will get the hint or they will be closing doors at least to the nightlife...
Read moreWord can’t describe how pleased and grateful I was with the service I received from the manager Debbie to make sure my mom birthday celebration was a success. We had over 20 people in our party and she worked very attentively, diligently and professionally to make sure everything was smooth and nice. Our order was placed ahead of time to accommodate such large party and Debbie had everything set, ready to be served on time and correct once served. She was very patient with everything and made sure we all was satisfied.
Food was on point. Everyone raved and was pleased with their food choices.
Hands down to the cooks in the back making the magic happen up front with every bite. You will not be disappointed with any of the food choices 🎉🎉. 10 out of 10.
I will recommend Tambou Bristo for a fine dine in experience. This experience was a recommendation from a friend since I don’t live in MA but flew there to celebrate my mom. I will definitely go back if I’m ever in MA and will def recommend your establishment to my family & friends.
Thank you Debbie and staff for making a very special memorable atmosphere and experience for my...
Read moreThe food was good but the wait was long. Over an hour for 5 people. It was mother's day so I'll give them a small pass on that. And it was my sister's birthday; there was no bday treat from the restaurant when we mentioned that. That's a first for us and That was disappointing. The waiter was slightly confusing. Many of us wanted macaroni for our side and he said there was none so we chose another option. When we were served our plates most of us ended up with the macaroni. It was a nice surprise but I would of preferred pleasant communication from the waiter sharing that we could get what we originally requested. I loved the sauce with my shrimp and conch meat. I would have liked to have more shrimp than conch. The brown rice tasted better that the djon djon. I would choose that next time! The tip is already set by the restaurant. I don't agree with. The more pleasant the waiter the more generous the tip will be and vice versa. American music was playing instead of Haitian music. That...
