Disappointing first try. I was excited to try this place out because of the reviews. I looked forward to having good Vietnamese nearby. Sadly, it wasn’t the case. Not sure if they had an off-day, but the food was not that great. I ordered fried egg roll, which is typically my favorite egg roll. It was too somewhat hard and flavorless. I had to dip it in the chili sauce more than I usually do as it lacked flavor. While it was hot, signaling just cooked, it seemed to have been refried. It had a hard crunch to it.

I also ordered the beef rice plate. All the reviews and pictures show that they have more meat than other rice plates. I was pretty excited. Womp womp. It was also flavorless. Additionally, as you can see in the picture, there is no daikon… just all carrots. I wouldn’t have minded the all carrots, but they probably used too much sugar because it was very sweet. The meat was just not that great. One star for it being tender, but it lacked any flavor. The green onions didn’t help either. Half the rice was mushy, half was cooked well. Also, the nuoc cham sauce was not bad but not great. Again, someone may have been heavy handed with the sugar that day. It was incredibly sweet and without any tang. If you can see in the picture, the sauce is pale…not the amber-looking color that one usually sees.

Vietnamese food has a complex sweet, thangy, savory flavor to it. Neither of the food I ordered had that. Very disappointing. Maybe I’ll try again because the food ratio to the cost was really great. If I do go back it won’t be for a while and maybe it’ll be to try their bahn mi.

I’m being very liberal with my rating: One star for fast food preparation and ease of ordering; one star for...

The restaurant is not in the best place it's right at an intersection. The menu is slim. The service was fine the person taking my order seemed out of it. The atmosphere was Super basic. I came here for a bobo drink, and they technically don't have Boba drinks. They have like frozen smoothies with Boba. The only relatable Boba drink was the taro drink, and it was only frozen. I did choose the mango smoothie with Boba. The picture on the menu showed a cup of mango smoothie with Boba for $5.99 but I was charged $7.00 and some change. How much was the taxes on this one drink. So my mango smoothie was at a perfect consistency, but it literally just tasted like unripe mangoes. There was no condensed milk added it seem like there was no sugar added it was basic. for the Boba part, the Boba pearls were super soft, but they didn't add any sweetener to it, so it wasn't like brown sugar, Boba. It just tasted like water. I did use the bathroom while they were making my smoothie. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest. There wasn't any toilet paper or paper towels so I was all wet when I pull my pants up. And the sink was filled with hair. I'm super sad because there's no Boba places around and I thought this was like a Boba place plus sandwiches but it's really not a Boba place so don't waste your time driving here because they only have a slim menu and it's only some frozen drinks. I really wanted to be impressed by this place. It was my very first time and I had super high hopes thinking this would be a 5 out of 5, but I had to give it a 1 because if I was rating it out of 10 it would be a 3 out of 10. I still did drink my $7.00 drink but I wasn't enjoying it while I was...

A friend of mine recommended N-Gon Viet Subs to me, and I was really pleased that I made the 45-minute drive. I got each of their four signature sandwiches and brought them home to my husband. He could not stop raving about them! From the bread’s consistency to the carefully crafted combination of flavors, this place has struck the right balance between their savory meat and the crisp freshness of the veggie toppings. I was skeptical because this is a newly launched restaurant. However, they put a lot of thought into every detail – from the sleek, modern design of the restaurant itself, to how they coordinated the flavors of each sandwich – the owners seem intent on providing a fully satisfying experience. The line was out the door when I was there, and although I was not able to try it then, their smoothies are a big hit. Most people in line got a smoothie to go with their sandwiches, and people were enjoying them. I opted for a fountain soda, which was amazing (sounds silly, but it was!). Customer service was awesome – friendly staff who were very accommodating to my requests. I have been recommending this place to my friends and family and will return in the future. Also, it was nice to be able to support a new, local...

as a vietnamese person, i was quite surprised and happy with the pork banh mi here, especially for the price. The bread was flaky/crisp on the outside, and airy and chewy on the inside. The pickled veggies were really fresh, more sweet than sour. they really gave a generous portion of herbs (looked like parsley instead of cilantro? but not sure.) and the pork was yummy, lightly sweet. it was probably pork belly? it wasn't very heavily salted since they don't use fish sauce, but for the fatty pork i liked it that way. mayo was good too. everything tasted great, fresh, and very high quality for the price. overall, it preserves the vietnamese taste and adapts it to the preference of the neighborhood. oh, and the workers there are nice too. definitely check the place out.
