Authentic? Hell, I don’t know. I’m am not of Asian ethnicity, nor am I an expert on Asian cuisine. I can say with absolute credibility that I don’t know what I am talking about. It’s a good place to be. I can go through life fat dumb and happy without being incumbered with prejudice regarding the authenticity of the food. Rating it is easy, either I like it or I don’t. I read a review for Bento Asian Diner, where the reviewer said “Just fyi, this is NOT Japanese food. It’s Chinese food that looks Japanese.” That is probably very significant information for connoisseurs of the cuisines. I don’t doubt the reviewer’s expertise. But as a neophyte, to me that has the relevance of saying that a cheeseburger is being made to look like a patty melt. Ok, Well?

Food tastes better when it is served with each entrée and side having its own little isolated section. No mixing. No messing around on the plate. It is proven technology. For instance, it keeps the chocolate cake from mixing with the green beans on my Swanson Hungry Man dinner. A Bento Box is neat.

I ordered the Deluxe Bento. A chance to try several menu items. General Tso’s, Bento Spicy Chicken, Fried rice, Chicken Egg Roll, California Roll and a salad (pictures). Everything was fantastic except the California Roll. I was amply warned, it is called a “California” Roll. My wife went the Classic Bento Orange Chicken, Crispy Spring roll and a Shrimp Tempura Roll. Everything was fantastic on her plate. The Orange Chicken had a prominent orange flavored sauce, over crispy fried breast meat. The meals started with a phenomenal Egg Drop Soup. Both very enjoyable meals with generous portions.

A family owned and staffed business. Friendly, personable young siblings were managing the front end of the restaurant this afternoon. The restaurant is clean. No Sriracha bottle boogers. The youngest son was scrubbing a table when we walked in. He made sure it was spotless. We picked that table. The restaurant has a hint of Asian décor; Chinese, Japanese IDK?

We truly enjoyed our meals and the dining experience. My #2 choice for Asian food in Broken Arrow behind Keo;...

Very surprised with the positive reviews. These were why we chose to order from here in the first place. We ordered take out and all of agreed it was the worst Chinese food we’ve ever had. We all ordered bento boxes. The food was very bland and tasted old. The meat in the sushi rolls tasted, looked, and smelled rotten. It was unfortunately a waste of money because we all threw away our food because it was inedible.

UPDATE: There are multiple false statements in the “owner’s” response. 1. A full refund was never requested. A partial refund was requested because more than half of the food was thrown away. 2. Reporting to the health department was never threatened. The employee on the phone brought up the health department when they were informed we were getting sick. 3. Threatening to write a bad Google review if we did not receive a full refund is completely false! The bad review was written before the call to report the bad food was even made. If the review had of been written after the fact it would have included how we had gotten sick from the food. The review was written before we started getting sick. 4. The statement about providing a doctor’s note and talks of an insurance company were never even discussed and a flat out lie by whomever replied to my original review. There could have possibly been a little language barrier with the employee spoken to on the phone but the person who wrote the response was definitely not who was spoken to on the phone.

I find it absolutely asinine that the “owner” claimed the excuse of us wanting free food to be the reason for the poor review. Trust me, we have no problem paying for our food. We order food everyday and have never had to call and report poor food quality and us getting sick from food we have ordered from other establishments. It is not out of the question to request a partial refund from a restaurant when the food quality was subpar and the food was thrown away...

All I can say is AMAZING!! My boyfriend and I tried them a couple days ago and they left such an amazing impression on us with just lunch. Today we went for dinner and there's so many compliments I can add. 1. Their food is SO GOOD! You don't know authentic Asian food until you eat here. The sushi rolls, the fried rice, the entrees, everything is just so good! The most interesting was the miso soup we tried today, the flavors were so intense! It's the first time I've tried miso soup and it took me(and my bf) on a flavor adventure. You take a sip and it's this flavor then that and then others and it's so intriguing. 2. I believe the place is family owned as I can see, and they're amazing! Very friendly and especially one of the young girls (I didn't catch her name) she was hilarious with her stories and served us well! Definitely a friendly environment and enjoyable experience! 3. The prices for the food is amazing in this era of expensive food. Way better than panda Express, egg roll street, and the other places we've tried. Overall, spectacular experience to the point that I want to make this a staple of my favorite restaurants, I'm definitely coming back for the indefinite future! If you're interested I seriously...

Such an amazing hole in the wall which I spontaneously decided to visit one day but so glad I did!!! The food is amazing and there is such a wide variety that doesn't end with Japanese food. Everything is sooo good!!!! And if you can, definitely get the fried sesame balls! They're so good fresh! Really the best rice cake I've ever had. Not too sweet, gluten friendly, and very homey taste. Not like store bought mochi at all and very amazing! The other stuff on the menu is really good too ofc! If I had one complaint, it would be that dishes marked as spicy aren't actually spicy. This is up to interpretation, however, and I get that my spice tolerance is higher than some others. Spice aside there is volumes of amazing flavor in each dish and I can't wait to go back! The photo is of the Singapore vermicelli/rice noodles. Very flavorful 😋

Here is my honest review- I ordered online for pickup, the lady at the front desk was nice & I really wanted to like this place because it seemed like they had good reviews. The chicken teriyaki was super tasty, however after taking my 1st bite of the rice which was super bland and not seasoned I noticed there was a white cat hair right in the rice that I just took a bite of so that was shocking, the sweet and sour chicken was really hard as were the crab cheese wontons & the worst item was the chicken lomein- soggy noodles and I honestly gave the chicken to my dogs and tossed the rest. I will not be back sadly after spending $55 on this horrendous meal.
