I used to live in BA and we use to love to go to Whataburger. Everytime I come back for a visit it is on my list of stops. Well this weekend my family and I came to town and we were so excited to grab some burgers from one of our favorite places. That excitment quickly evaporated and turned to frustration. We went around 12:15pm on Saturday we knew it would be busy and had anticipated a wait. They had one cashier working the front who was busy getting milkshakes for another customer. So we stood at the register waiting for about 5 minutes without any kind of greeting from any of employees walking around. Once she did come to to register there was a line to the door and I overheard someone finally calling for help on the front. We got our order placex and iy cane out a lot quicker than we thought which was awesome. The person that brought the order said someone would come around with the ketchup tray in a minute. Well 10 plus minutes go by no one came around, so I head up to the counter again. I ask for ketchup which I was given immediately. I also requested mustard because they messed up my husbands burger and didn't have the mustard on it. (This happened after the girl repeated back to me the special instructions for his.) The girl l that gave me the ketchup said she was going to take an order out to a table then get my mustard. Again standing and waiting. Another employee asked if an order was mine I said no, just waiting on mustard. I ended up back at our table with only ketchup, no mustard. By the time I got back to the table my husband had finished his fries no longer wanting the ketchup. The food is good but the customer service is highly lacking. So disappointing not sure if we will continue to stop there...

Do better Whataburger, because sucking is easy.
While on a drive home one day last week we decided to stop by one of our favorite places to eat, Whataburger. We placed the order online and chose our parking spot as we've done many times before, order said it was going to be ready in 15 minutes so we patiently waited. After about 25 minutes and two people coming and going after we arrived, I asked one of the employees who was delivering food to a pickup truck next to us what was up with our order, I showed him my phone and confirmed that there was an order and he promptly went to the vehicle next to us, the pickup truck previously mentioned, as it was pulling away and knocked on the passenger window, they stopped and the person opened the door and handed them the bag that the employee just gave them and that was our food. He told us that they (plausible deniability) told him we were in spot number two even though it clearly said spot number four on the receipt and on my phone. Supposedly since we weren't in spot 2, he just decided to give it to his friends who were in spot number 2. I complained to Whataburger headquarters using their methods online on filing a complaint and never heard a thing from anybody even after the promise of being contacted after three or four days. I will say that this is the worst location of Whataburger on the planet and I implore you to prove me wrong.

We were told they were out of shake mix (we wanted shakes with our orders.) They were out of chicken chunks due to salmonella. We ordered. Our food arrived and the fries and chicken tenders were old. We went back up to ask for fresh ones to be made and observed a female employee with a Strawberry Shake. They did give us fresh fries and tenders. We observed 3 more people with shakes after that. We asked again and were told the only way to get them was to order online and go through the drive-thru. How does that make sense? I thought they were out of shake mix. We decided we would order shakes online and have them on our way home. We ordered and PAID for them on the app. The sale was allowed to process and go through. Most online ordering will not allow sales of items that are out of stock. We went to get them and cashier #1 was over heard stating to manager, "they been causing problems since they got here ." Manager said, "No shakes. I can't return your money." It was $46.00 for our family to eat, plus the price of 4 shakes we paid for and never received. They were obviously lying about the shakes and just being rude. Horrible experience. Extremely rude management and staff. Beware of ordering on the app...they will charge you for items they...
