This is THE BEST RUN CHIK-FIL-A DRIVE THRU!! Last Saturday night, my nephew was told to choose where we were going to pick up dinner from, after a long day at his sister's softball tournament. He chose Chick-fil-A.
I'm from Brookfield, and visit monthly. I currently live in PA, and have several Chick-fil-A locations available to me (they're all AWFUL! Orders are often wrong, waits over 1/2 hour-45 minutes at curbside AND order ahead drive thru...). But, in Brookfield CT, the line APPEARED long, double lines. I was in, with an order for 6, of course greeted with courtesy, treated with kindness, and always asked with manners to move forward each time the vehicle ahead pulled up, and the person taking my order followed along. Never once, seemed frustrated when I adjusted the order, added to the order, or asked IF I ordered something, and he said he would repeat my order at the end to make sure it was all correct. Also, he made sure we'd have more than adequate amounts of dipping sauces, unlike the locations near me. And, every interaction ended with "My pleasure!" Also, thank you, Devon, for sending the emails for "appreciation treats" more than every once in a while! I NEVER get those from the locations where I currently live! More Chick-fil-A franchises should follow your lead. They'd do much better business and have much happier customers! I wasn't in that drive thru line for more than 10 minutes! And, I started at "the last car" right before you turn into the actual drive through lane. In Harrisburg/Mechanicsburg, PA, I would have had enough time to do my whole mobile order through the app and still figure out the day's Wordle! That night, we got home, and the chicken strips WERE SO HOT! PERFECT for when we got back to the house! BEST CHIK-FIL-A! BEST STAFF! BEST CUSTOMER INTERACTION even when customers aren't physically in-house "customers" that day! PS-that Autumn Harvest shake is...
Read moreStopped for breakfast yesterday morning using my mobile app. Their service is exemplary & their drive through is the best I’ve ever seen! As of 3/30/23 my experience has unfortunately changed! I ordered via the mobile app an order of well done waffle fries & drive thru pick ip. Well to my surprise the too fry was cool & greasy as I was driving out of the drive thru. Got to traffic light & after turning I grabbed another fry only to find that one cooler to touch. By the time I got to BJ’s (1/4 mile down the street) the rest of the fries were ice cold & very greasy! Not sure if this was a leftover box of fries that had sat too long on the rack but they definitely were not well done or even close to warm! This is not the usual for this establishment. My suggestion would be for Chic Fil A is that a time stamp is writing on the food going forward so this doesn’t happen again. When I went inside an hour later (after shopping at BJ’s Warehouse) all the front (6) person watching & the head cashier could say was @this order was an hour ago”. Well yes it is, as I cont. with my shopping because it’s a nightmare getting in & out of this busy store location. I would have expected something a little more creative from this store such as “Oh , I’m sorry this happened, how can I make it right”; but to my surprise by the time I arrived home there was a notification on my cc that a refund was issued. It turned out to be a good teaching moment for the store; (I was not looking for a refund, just some great fries to snack & serving food the way a...
Read moreIn terms of efficiency, this Chik Fil A location runs like a well-oiled machine. The drive thru attendants are quick, thorough, and though the drive thru is often crowded, their perfected system ensures order accuracy. Again through personal experience, I can’t help but wonder if their popularity is the reason for their inconsistent food quality.
I stopped by yesterday evening and ordered a Grilled Chicken Sandwich combo with a Coke. Off kilter for them, my order was completed ahead of the car in front of me, but there seemed to be some miscommunication as I was sitting with my food, unable to move. I appreciated my food coming with my requested sauces (albeit only one of each), napkins, and the fries coming in a separate, miniature bag. Taste however, was a different story.
Unfortunately, I’m beginning to believe that the “freshness” of Chik Fil A is overrated. The bun to my sandwich was slightly stale and had a mild aftertaste. My fries were heavily oiled and yet still tasted dry. I’m also disappointed that the bottom of the fry container was primarily crumbs and smaller pieces that truthfully, don’t constitute fries.
In this economy, if you’re choosing fast food as a meal replacement, I think you have the right to be picky. Chik Fil A has great chicken alternatives, but a lot of their items need to be smothered in sauces. Apparently, their overall taste isn’t location specific. Truthfully, while the service is good, I think I might just begin to skip the Chik Fil...
