This diner is an absolute gem that takes you on a delightful trip back to the '50s. The nostalgia that washes over you as you step inside is truly remarkable. The attention to detail in recreating that era is impressive, from the decor to the music playing in the background. It's like stepping into a time machine.
But what really sets this diner apart is the fantastic food. The menu is a delightful mix of classic diner dishes, and every item I tried was superb. The burgers were juicy, the milkshakes were thick and creamy, and the pies were out of this world. They've truly perfected the art of comfort food.
Meeting the employees was an absolute pleasure. They exude friendliness and genuine warmth, making you feel like a cherished guest. Their enthusiasm for the '50s theme and their dedication to providing exceptional service is commendable.
If you want a taste of the past and a hearty, delicious meal, this diner is the place to be. It's a place that not only serves fantastic food but also makes you feel like you've traveled back in time while meeting some of the most exceptional employees around. Five stars...
Read moreWell when we sat down there was a woman sitting next to us that had an amazing plate of what looked like French toast with fresh strawberries. So initially we had high hopes for this place.
So we ordered a cheese burger with fries, a veggie burger, and a short stack of pancakes.
Cue the disappointing music definitely not what we expected I wonder if the lady next to us cooked her own meal because what we got was literally inedible. The burger was hard yet raw in the center, the fries had a grainy texture, the pancakes and the veggie burger tasted like they picked them up at the dollar store. The worse was the veggie burger we still have no clue what type of veggie burger this was because none of us have ever seen a white veggie burger it was spongy and tasted like wet cardboard. Worse was the price at $40+ for this meal and we ended up having to eat at another place because we were still starving. I did tip the waitress cause she wasn’t the one cooking but never again. This is one of those places that we are scratching off our places to eat. We’ll drive all the way back to Stamford before even...
Read moreI would like to say i when i came to this place there were maybe 5/6 other people so it wasn’t busy. It looked cute from the outside but the second i walked in i got bad energy from the lady in the front. As we sat down everything seemed to be fine. They took our order and our appetizer came out fine. Then they bring out our main meals, my meal was completely wrong, i ordered a bacon burger with waffle fries and got a normal burger with normal fries, obviously not what i asked for. Then my mom is one bite into her sandwich and finds a black hair poking out of it, meanwhile she is a blonde. It was absolutely disgusting and made me not want my meal either. Then as we send back our meals, the first lady looks at us like we are crazy wondering why we went out food back, not what i expected after finding a hair in our food. Finally as she brings the bill back she still expected us to pay for the other meals we had that came from the same kitchen. (Which we payed for) It was a horrible experience from a small diner that we expected quick and good...
