This diner is an absolute gem that takes you on a delightful trip back to the '50s. The nostalgia that washes over you as you step inside is truly remarkable. The attention to detail in recreating that era is impressive, from the decor to the music playing in the background. It's like stepping into a time machine.

But what really sets this diner apart is the fantastic food. The menu is a delightful mix of classic diner dishes, and every item I tried was superb. The burgers were juicy, the milkshakes were thick and creamy, and the pies were out of this world. They've truly perfected the art of comfort food.

Meeting the employees was an absolute pleasure. They exude friendliness and genuine warmth, making you feel like a cherished guest. Their enthusiasm for the '50s theme and their dedication to providing exceptional service is commendable.

If you want a taste of the past and a hearty, delicious meal, this diner is the place to be. It's a place that not only serves fantastic food but also makes you feel like you've traveled back in time while meeting some of the most exceptional employees around. Five stars...

Well when we sat down there was a woman sitting next to us that had an amazing plate of what looked like French toast with fresh strawberries. So initially we had high hopes for this place.

So we ordered a cheese burger with fries, a veggie burger, and a short stack of pancakes.

Cue the disappointing music definitely not what we expected I wonder if the lady next to us cooked her own meal because what we got was literally inedible. The burger was hard yet raw in the center, the fries had a grainy texture, the pancakes and the veggie burger tasted like they picked them up at the dollar store. The worse was the veggie burger we still have no clue what type of veggie burger this was because none of us have ever seen a white veggie burger it was spongy and tasted like wet cardboard. Worse was the price at $40+ for this meal and we ended up having to eat at another place because we were still starving. I did tip the waitress cause she wasn’t the one cooking but never again. This is one of those places that we are scratching off our places to eat. We’ll drive all the way back to Stamford before even...

I would like to say i when i came to this place there were maybe 5/6 other people so it wasn’t busy. It looked cute from the outside but the second i walked in i got bad energy from the lady in the front. As we sat down everything seemed to be fine. They took our order and our appetizer came out fine. Then they bring out our main meals, my meal was completely wrong, i ordered a bacon burger with waffle fries and got a normal burger with normal fries, obviously not what i asked for. Then my mom is one bite into her sandwich and finds a black hair poking out of it, meanwhile she is a blonde. It was absolutely disgusting and made me not want my meal either. Then as we send back our meals, the first lady looks at us like we are crazy wondering why we went out food back, not what i expected after finding a hair in our food. Finally as she brings the bill back she still expected us to pay for the other meals we had that came from the same kitchen. (Which we payed for) It was a horrible experience from a small diner that we expected quick and good...

My family and I stumbled upon this place as we attempted to go to Maggy Mcflys up the road, but the parking lot was full, so we came here. Very good choice. A great interior design, and we were greeted immediately when we walked in. You can sit wherever there is a table or at the counter if you like. When you walk in you're greeted by the smell of good cooking before anything else which is a very good sign. The wait staff and attentive, quick and friendly. I ordered meat ravioli Parmigiano with chicken soup on the side. The chicken soup was very hearty and warmed my body and soul. To be honest the ravioli wasn't really my favorite. The sauce was a bit too sweet for my liking, the fresh melted mozzarella cheese was nice, the pasta was perfect al dente and hot. I didn't care for the filling but that's me being nitpicky. Overall a great experience with great food and without breaking the bank so I'll be back here again to try some more menu items.

Updating my review. Food is ok. The overall quality is very different. Service is not the same. The manager verbally asks for tips - even for takeouts. This makes it quite awkward. During the pandemic, it was ok as the staff had no way to make money. Now, this doesn't make sense. I usually tip 10% when I pick up and 20%+ when dining in. But when someone demands being tipped for takeout, that's just strange. I stopped going for this reason. We had high hopes for this place. Hope the original owners come back. ------- It is good to see Red Colony back in Brookfield at the same location after a very long hiatus. Many of us remember the tabletop jukeboxes and the 24 hour food. The food is delicious and the service is warm and hospitable. I have ordered takeout a few times and had very good experience everytime. We need a diner in Brookfield and wish this business the best of luck.

To begin with, I like diners, always have, and this is by far my favorite; with delicious food and outstanding service. My wife and I have never had less than a very enjoyable experience here. Eduardo and Tanya and everyone here is committed to serving the best. I give it a 6 out of 5! And Recently: Tanya is a gem. The service is still great and the quality and portions remain excellent! And check out the little garden in the parking area! Update: went to the diner today and when Tanya saw us she placed our usual order before we were seated. She is there M thru F, is the best and is always friendly and attentive. She is a gem!
