I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent dining experience at your establishment. During my lunch break, I decided to try your steak dinner, priced at $27, only to be met with an incredibly unsatisfactory meal and unprofessional behavior from the owner.
The steak I received had a dry, rubber-like texture that made it inedible. The quality of the food was subpar, and far below the expectations. When I approached the owner to discuss my concerns and request a refund, I was met with resistance and disrespect. Not only did the owner refuse to address the issue, but she also went as far as asking me to leave and even called the police.
Furthermore, the owner and her staffs inappropriate comments and behavior towards me during this incident were highly unbecoming of a professional establishment. It was disheartening to witness such unprofessionalism and lack of customer service in response to a legitimate complaint.
To make matters worse, the accusation made by the owner that I was paid to complain in order to harm her business is absurd and baseless. This unfounded accusation further reflects poorly on the integrity and professionalism of your establishment.
In light of this regrettable experience, I have no intention of revisiting your restaurant and would not recommend it to others. The combination of poor food quality, unprofessional behavior, and disrespectful treatment towards customers is unacceptable and tarnishes the reputation of your business.
I urge you to address these issues promptly and take necessary steps to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. Customer satisfaction and quality service should be top priorities for any reputable establishment, and I hope that you will take this feedback seriously and work towards improving your standards.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope that you will handle this situation with the seriousness it deserves.
It’s sad the the only advise the officer could give me was to roast you on the reviews while you punk me out a whole $50. Big wide...
Read moreAs a native of Hialeah, South Florida, renowned for its vibrant Cuban culture and cuisine, I was eager to explore a new Cuban restaurant that recently opened its doors in Brookhaven. However, my visit to this establishment left much to be desired.
Upon entering the restaurant, I was met with silence as no one greeted me, prompting me to inquire about the seating arrangements. Opting to sit at the bar, I found my server to be a young gentleman who, although attentive, failed to introduce himself. It was only through eavesdropping on a conversation at the bar where I was seating, that another staff member that was behind the bar was in fact the owner. I couldn't help but feel overlooked as he was the same gentleman who walked past me upon my arrival without acknowledgment.
My dining experience took a disappointing turn when I sampled the cuisine. Regrettably, the dishes failed to capture the essence of authentic Cuban flavors, with a particular letdown being the jasmine rice, a far cry from the traditional staple. Requesting an alternative side dish due to my aversion to jasmine rice, I found myself further disheartened by the lack of engagement from the owner, who remained engrossed in conversation with another patron of a different ethnicity.
The absence of a simple gesture, such as introducing himself or inquiring about my satisfaction with the meal, left me feeling unwelcome and sidelined. The perceived disparity in treatment based on race only served to exacerbate this sentiment, casting a shadow over what should have been a delightful dining experience.
In conclusion, while the service provided by the attentive server was a redeeming factor, the lack of authenticity in the cuisine and the disconcerting sense of exclusion due to perceived racial biases ultimately marred my visit to this Cuban restaurant in Brookhaven. It is my hope that the establishment will prioritize inclusivity, genuine hospitality, and culinary excellence to ensure a more welcoming and culturally authentic dining experience for all patrons...
Read moreThe experience was super unpleasant, it took us 40 minutes to get to the place because we wanted to check it out, we arrived and ordered an appetizer and mojitos, they brought us the mojitos in plastic cups, the table next to us had the same mojitos but in glass cups served properly, I called the waitress and told her that I would order another one but that please serve it to me in proper glasses, the girl came back very embarrassed and told me that she couldn't because it was the terrace and it was the rules of the place, I felt very uncomfortable because the reason that the manager gave us later was very unpleasant that supposedly he couldn't serve us in proper glasses because the people who go there take their glasses, then other American clients arrived as well and they were also served their drinks appropriately, it seemed to me and a lack of respect because undoubtedly we were treated that way for being Latino, which is very sad since the restaurant is supposedly Cuban, and in fact the The man who said all this nonsense and treated us like we were less , is also Latino (Mexican). I would never return to this place!! !!!!! I!!!!!!!!😡😡
I am very sorry to inform you that I was there yesterday Saturday April 5th, there was no event nearby and the only table that was occupied next to us was served appropriately, not satisfied with that after complaining to your online manager who is there, he told us that the policy of the place was plastic on the terrace because people were stealing glasses, and to complete the bad experience some customers arrived long after us and they were also served as their drinks should be in their glasses and cups, don't tell me it wasn't discrimination, I am a serious person, I traveled 40 minutes to get to know your establishment and this happened, I don't know if you were aware or not but your staff did in fact the waitress who served us apologized to us and told us that she could not...
