I went here for lunch today around 1:00 PM -- I was in the area looking for Jersey Mike's, completely unaware that it had been removed and replaced with a Publix (I think a Kroger used to be here). This was my first visit, and it wasn't too busy. The restaurant seemed clean, and it was nice to see tables being wiped down. There is also plenty of outdoor seating under a large overhang, which would probably be nice in cooler or drier weather.

I ordered a tuna melt and chose the Israeli salad as the side. I asked for jalapenos to be added to the sandwich, and was disappointed when I got the receipt to find that they charged a dollar for the additional topping. Seemed steep considering there were about 8-10 jalapeno slices. The sandwich was pretty good, but would have been better if it had been heated through -- some of the thicker parts were still cool in the middle. The bread and other toppings were very good, and it seemed like a sizable portion of tuna salad was on the sandwich. When it came to the Israeli salad, I wish I had more than what was in that little cup! It was very good and so fresh! I could have had a bowl of that stuff for lunch alone! :)

Overall, I'd visit again...there are many other items on the menu that I'd...

Disappointed Doesn’t Even Begin to Cover It As someone born and raised in NYC Brooklyn, I know good food—especially a good deli or bagel spot. I decided to give Brooklyn Bagel & Deli a try for breakfast, expecting something that lived up to the city it’s named after. Unfortunately, it was a major letdown. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato—no onions. My pregnant wife ordered a buffalo chicken wrap with ranch and buffalo sauce on the side. What we received was unacceptable. My sandwich had barely any chicken, was sloppily thrown together with onions, and had wilted, rotten lettuce. My wife’s meal was even worse—no ranch sauce, and the chicken inside her wrap was raw. Yes, raw chicken. This is a serious health risk, especially for someone pregnant. This place has no business carrying the name "Brooklyn" or referencing NYC. It’s a total misrepresentation, over priced and, frankly, an insult to the quality and standards we hold back home in Brooklyn. As a Brooklyn native—I do...

The bagels are good but doesn’t scream Brooklyn nostalgia. The menu requires more clarity. I ordered a bagel sandwich off the menu which stated your choice of meat and when I saw the receipt, they charged an additional $5 bucks for my choice of meat. Moving on to my biggest disappointment is who I would like to believe is the owner since his face was plastered on the wall. The shop has been opened for about 3 weeks now. I noticed the owner walk around and talk to customers but didn’t bother to come talk to us and I even gave him an opportunity to speak as I walked past him and gave him a smile. I suppose the shade of our skin was not to his preference. I have never felt the need to leave a review like this in my life yet. I’m going to leave it at that. I’m all about supporting small and new businesses but please pretend to like your paying customers regardless of how you personally feel. I hope the owner reads this review and will do better with future customers. A friendly reminder, “Welcome...

Not bad, but not great either. The Reuben I got called “ATL”, should have been called “sad Reuben”. It wanted more meat, more thousand island, more juice…. But didn’t get any of it. It had potential to be good, but when the top and bottom bread slices meet together due to it being so empty inside… well, you’ve failed your mission to be a great deli. Not the best showing, especially when there is a much better alternative across the street. The potato salad tasted identical to the Publix one I bought the other day. The sneaky 3% credit card surcharge topped it off for me. It could have been great, so much potential. But this is just meh. For the best Reuben in ATL, my go to place continues to be “Reuben’s” downtown. See pictures for what a TRUE Reuben should look like (for the same price).
