Beautiful, lovely cafe with great drinks and kind staff. Internet access for remote workers! The only comment I have is about sustainability; it seems like they do not have options for people to order their drinks in mugs or glasses (I ordered an iced chai and asked for a glass but they said they were only offering plastic.) They do accept your own mug but there’s no alternative if you don’t bring one. Additionally it looked like they don’t offer recycling for the plastic cups; I only saw a trash can. Would recommend considering offering mugs or glasses and recycling for any plastic you do generate. Important to note that this location is *not* wheelchair accessible (big ledge to the front entrance.) Thanks! ☕️

Real matcha and soy, oat, or almond milk! It is SUPER tiny inside, and yet lots of people were busy working, so it’s a popular place! The pastries and cookies look phenomenal but I didn’t try. They have MEM tea, and this matcha is very genuine Japanese matcha. It tastes phenomenal. I love that they also have Peaflower lemonade and 10% discounts for those who bike in. There is parking right out front, and there is only one step to enter, BUT that one step is unusually high up. If you have trouble with steps, this might be a challenge for you. They also have Jamie’s ice cream, which is an ice cream shop just next door!

Ask them to make you a ham and cheese croissant!!!

This morning, I went into Brothers & Sisters looking for a savory breakfast option. The girl at the cashier noted that I didn't want one of their breakfast sandwich options, and said they could make me a ham and cheese croissant. This was the best ham and cheese croissant I have ever had.

First of all, the service was quick. Secondly, they warmed up the croissant to melt the cheese inside, which was amazing. Third, the ham and cheese were evenly spread throughout the croissant, which might sound silly to mention, but I swear that every time I get a ham and cheese croissant, the ham is tucked away in some little corner of the croissant. Not this time. Lastly, it wasn't messy. One of the reasons I didn't want a breakfast sandwich was because I hate being on the go with a sandwich that has too much going on and inevitably stains my work clothes before I even begin the day.

This is such a simple breakfast option but so so delicious and I have definitely tried lots of ham and cheese croissants around the neighborhood. This one hit different, and made me so happy that I felt like I had to tell people about it. Kudos to whoever made me a ham and cheese croissant at 8:50AM on Wednesday, August 30th - it was the best I've ever had and truly made me respect this cafe beyond its...

The coffee is very good and the staff are friendly. But it is clearly chaos behind the counter and in BOH in the mornings. I think the staff are doing their best, but the management need to do some more training around workflow. I’ve got 10 years of busy coffee shop experience so I absolutely get that turnover is real and that hospitality is a difficult industry to work in. But you have to train your staff not just on how to make coffee, but how to make it efficiently. A good workflow will also do wonders to keep staff stress levels down!

But I’ve gone here three times recently and the speed of service is painfully slow considering how many people they have on. Today I waited 35 mins for a bagel with cream cheese. There were THREE people in the kitchen. Three! I think what really pushed me to leave this review was the fact that I saw several orders placed after mine come out before my order. Again, I think the staff are lovely people and I think with the right training will be great in their roles, they just need management to give...

It was my first time coming to this cafe. It was a busy Sunday and as someone who was a seasoned barista for 11 years I understand how stressful and busy the weekends can be. I ordered a mobile iced matcha latte and stood to the side where you're supposed to pick up mobiles. A couple mins after arriving I saw the barista put a matcha latte in a glass case in the front, although there was no way for me to retrieve it. When the front register barista came to drop something off I asked if my mobile order was ready and she pointed to the barista making drinks and said "she's the one making them," and instantly walked away. After 25 mins the barista making the drinks asked what I was waiting for and I received my drink. No shade to the barista making them, she was GRINDING. I saw how fast she was making drinks, while being clean and efficient. I would just rather a watered down matcha over having to wait 25 mins when my drink was ready in a glass case. Not impressed with the service from the front cashier, I don't think I'll return. The...
