Arrived at 6:30 for dinner, the restaurants peak time. Decor is minimalistic, nothing symbolizing Thailand here, I feel they went the modern route which is still nice. I started off with the Boston Blackthorn, it was stiff and similar to a Manhattan. Next up was the Tom Yum Shrimp soup, 3 large shrimp and 20 mushrooms, the broth was way overpowered by the taste of shrimp/seafood. I decided to order the red curry with chicken for my main course, this is a favorite dish of mine but I was a bit confused, as I've never had it served this way. Typically the chicken is within the curry. At Pon Thai they grill the chicken with the skin on. This was not what I had expected but I dealt with it. I don't think I'd order this dish from here again. The service was also so-so, I felt like the wait staff didn't want to be working and none of them were friendly or welcoming, just seemed like business as usual.

Had food delivered so you always take your chances with this. The food was packed poorly and a cup of iced tea was on its side in the bag and spilled all over the inside of the bag. Ordered the fresh roll and was you can from the picture, the entire roll was packed literally with cilantro stems and the worst, hard pieces of the lettuce you could possibly find. There was a tiny sliver of shrimp in there with a few shreds of carrot but that was lost among the big thick stems and 50 pounds of lettuce. Fresh rolls are one of my favorite things in the world so this was very disappointing. The dumplings were good and according to my co-worker the veggie pad thai was good.

Came for lunch, we were instantly sat and greeted with water. Our server was prompt and very kind. We got Crab Rangoons and Country Padtie and both came out hot and full of flavor. The prices were inexpensive for the quality of food and service we received. Definitely check it out for lunch!

I used to love this place before Covid pandemic but stopped going for a while not because of Covid thing but because of their poor wait staff service. They really don't like baby or kid to come here. Generally speaking they are not professionally service educated so, serving the customer is so poor quality. I feel sorry that their food is good and owner seems nice but it is too bad that staff there is so bad. Fortunately when I went back to this place, the man waiter who was extremely rude to our three family was gone so glad but then there is another woman now who has a short hair is not kind again. -_-;;; very sad to see since when I visit Thailand 20 years ago, They are such a nice people with great smile with respect, I can’t see that here. Long hair staff is neutral but not nice not bad just neutral. I felt like the wait staff here didn't want to be working or serve the customer properly when I asked new utensils the short hair woman rolled her eyes and even sighed in front of my child… that is not nice… Hope the woman owner knows about this situation. Customer felt really uncomfortable because of the wrong staffs. This is not my first time experience so I finally decided to write something online today… Addmore, spraying cleaning spray liquid wildly is not professional while people are eating… they can spray on the cloth directly closed motion first make it wet to wipe e table afterwards, not spraying directly over the table toe spray particles travels long distance than you think( watched video about it) it really spread to other tables which tables are all very close to each other here and those are cleaning chemicals we don’t like it at all. I know they have to clean up the table for a new customer but they should do it more gentle way so that it is not upsetting other tables. I read people’s review and saw many complaints actually those were about the wait staff complaints just as I did. Hopefully the owner hire someone who deserves to work here ; more customer and family friendly people. None of them were friendly or welcoming. So far...this restaurant can be more successful if they hire nicer staff for sure. Unfortunately I am not going back again for a while… even though I like their food. As a customer, friendly welcoming atmosphere service is More important than the good food actually. Even though food is good, and staff service is poor, no one wants to go back. I think owner should consider about this when hiring staffs. Good Service is a face of the restaurant. Very important. So far, this restaurant’s face was not pretty… at all..I want to give 2.5 stars but they don’t allow me to so I press 2. Food quality is 4 actually and it deduct to 2 stars because of the poor...

I don’t know what happened to this restaurant. I used to eat the Pad See Ew here almost weekly for years when it was Pon Thai Bistro. The noodles where soft and would not clump, and they had that delicious charcoal taste.

I’ve gotten the Pad See Ew twice since it changed the name and they are terrible. The sauce is flavorless, the noodles clump and don’t have the charcoal taste. And why are they putting so much carrot in it?? The greens are not fresh or cut as stems as the real deal. They use American broccoli instead of Chinese broccoli. HUGE difference in taste and texture.

Also the new menu: why would you have the option of crispy chicken in pad see ew? Or all the other options that have no relevance to pad see ew?? What happened to the amazing duck rolls?

I lived in Bangkok for 3 years before coming to Boston and this is my go-to dish. I have no idea how they can get it so wrong after doing it right so many years.

This place should find a new chef or figure something out. I used to recommend Pon Thai to everyone as the besy thai in Massachusetts. This Maliss thing is...
