I decided to call like around 635 and I asked to speak to a manager and a lady answer the phone. I told her what has happened to me. She put the phone down because she was taking care-customers. I waited patiently all I wanted is to communicate what the Food has poison my stomach and tell her to check the food that I was served to be cautious with thatI told her She said she came in the afternoon shift, However, in the beginning of the conversation, she said I’m sorry it’s only the chef and I at the the restaurant, she said she didn’t work in the morning. Read moreAte lunch here today. Hate giving a 1-star reviews but while it was clean, that was sadly all Boca Grande had going for it. No smiles or greetings and only frowns ruled the faces of all 3 employees working. I asked for hot sauce (even en español) and was not told but “pointed” towards a shelf on the wall with bottled sauces—even after I repeated twice I was asking for a homemade hot sauce like nearly every other taco joint in the world from Boston to San Diego and beyond, she pointed with a frown.
To my food: Despite being there at prime time, my enchiladas were curiously heated in front of my eyes in the microwave (yuck!!), mole sauce was running, food (not surprisingly considering the microwave) didn’t taste good and chicken was rubbery and despite the microwave, cheese didn’t fully melt. I suspect the chicken may have been sitting some time or even an earlier day?
On top of below average taste, I got a stomach ache 30 minutes later and it’s been with me almost 10 hours later. Save your time, money, health, and stomach pain and...
Read moreI have been a patron of Boca Grande for the entirety of its existence - 25+ years, here in Cambridge, MA was its very first location. Once I had Boca Grande’s burrito 🌯 I have refused to go anywhere else. Other restaurants are not as authentic or flavorful and they simply do not compare. These days (years, rlly 🥰), I choose the Brookline location bc Orlando has that special touch and I absolutely adore the service! There’s a particular add-on that I simply must have (🍅) and one time, they’d run out of plain tomatoes just a few minutes earlier, it was the end of the night, abt 20 minutes from closing and they still prepared it for me as they weren’t as busy at that moment. My whole family only goes to Boca Grande. And, THAT will never change! 10/10, I highly recommend andwe send all of our friends and...
