I visited the walk up location in Brookline, MA on Saturday July 16th at approximately 7:45pm. I waited in line for almost 10-15 minutes until I finally made it up to the window. Upon arriving at the window, the cashier asked if I could wait and apologized as they were behind on orders. I have worked in food service before so I completely understand but I probably had to wait an additional 10 minutes for her to come back to the window to take my order. Then I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for my one pint milkshake (I order brown sugar cookie dough with chocolate syrup) which sounded amazing. Upon picking up my order, the milkshake was almost a watery like consistency and not worth the $11.82 that I paid and drunk it in less than 5 minutes. If this establishment is going to charge that price for a milkshake, the quality should match the price. I understand like most food service businesses currently, there are staffing issues but I am not satisfied with the quality of the product that I recieved on this date and time. I would not recommend getting a milkshake to anyone reading this...
Read moreIce cream here is fine but nothing special. The lemon poppy loaf is quite dense, especially with the chunks of loaf, so it almost feels like you're eating the bread itself. Flavor is decent. Pistachio is okay but the ice cream base is not as flavorful as I would like. The oat milk latte flavor is on the bitter side and I really like that one. Banana pudding is good, the flavor is not particularly strong, but I could throw it out the wafer. London fog was actually very good and the bergamot shone through. The texture of all the flavors was very creamy, but I'd say what it's lacking on is the intensity of the flavor. The baby scoop is only a little small to a single but almost half the price...
Read moreWe’ve purchased Jamie’s ice cream pre pinted before and enjoyed it. Unfortunately their front of house could REALLY use some work. We waited in line for 15+ minutes and instead of announcing to the group of more than 8 parties behind us that they would be closing shortly, they very abruptly closed and locked the windows. One cashier mumbled out the window as he handed the person one group ahead of us their order as we stepped up “uuuh closed” and then literally slammed the window in our faces. Obviously places have to close, however the lack of situational awareness by their staff was extremely off putting. Hopefully their manager can assist them in more appropriate tactics...
