Village Pizza House — Restaurant in Brookline

food and service have gone down hill since previous owners have left. For a quite afternoon with only two parties in the restaurant (myself and another group of three) it took 10 minutes for the guy to give me my slice! from the 5 seconds of taking my money and walking to the back all three employees that were on shift made eye contact with me not once asked if I was all set or thought it was strange that I had not received my slice. I had to to bring it to there attention and even still they brought out the other parties FULL PIZZA and still not my single slice. Not only that they constantly mess up orders such as asking for extra mayo on a sub and not putting any mayo on it at all. Defiantly not going back new ownership of this establishment has ran it straight...

Even though I was frustrated about me leaving my lovely round Green & White Celtics hat behind @ the JFCS Brighton office BLDG last THU, 3/17/22 on Purim '22 by mistake, the staff was both very friendly & helpful to me & the food was great too (i.e. Mouthwatering plain slices & CHOC Chip Cheesecake, respectively). Yum! Of course, I'm only human & I make mistakes sometimes. Hopefully someday, we'll have some Mushroom and/or Eggplant slice specials on the chalkboard someday like they have @ Cook's Window Pizza in Wellesley LWR Falls since those are two of my pizza topping combos. Ditto for Buffalo Chicken slices too! Yummy! Anyway, have a great rest of the day!

Dreadful! I ordered a Kabob dinner which came with three small sausage like kabobs. They were over Rice pilaf with a small plastic container of humus on the side. A piece of pita bread didn't even come with it. She did give it to me though to her credit. A salad was suppose to come with the meal but the Women said that was extra. When I showed her the menu she acknowledged the mistake. I was so disappointed by the meal and won't be returning. Prices have gone way up, portion-sizes have gone way down, and quality of food has decreased. Incidentally, the wait time was way too long being the only one...
