Excellent Salvadorian food for a very reasonable price. Their enchiladas are unique compared to the ones you get at mexican restaurants. Served on an crispy open face shell. Pastelitos were fried crispy and pleasantly savory. The pupusa can be made with either refried beans or custard (both almost tasted like a dessert). Simply delicious! Service is slow though. You can expect to wait 20-25 minutes to be served. They day I went, it wasn't even crowded and it stil took that long. There's a decent amount of seating indoors. No outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. I do wish they had metal utensils. The plastic utensils were useless when trying to cut the firm enchilada shell.

I moved from Miami where food like this is much more accessible and pretty much around the corner. Been looking for a good pupusa spot and found this place. It's not just Salvadoran, but also Mexican which is even better. I got the pupusa de queso con lorocos and it was amazing. The curtido and salsa were also good and very traditional. They also have a large menu and plenty of seats inside. Next time, I'll actually sit down and try their other foods. I'm just thankful there's a place nearby where I can get some classic Central American food.

We stopped on our way through the Cities. We had never had pupusos. They were fabulous. The owner gave us great recommendations on his favorites, but also took time to explain other Menu options. The food was authentic. My daughter isn't always fond of a lot of spice. This food was not spicy at all, but had great flavor. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and inviting. The price was incredible! 3 of us are for right at $30. We are so glad that we tried something new and we will be back.

Tolis Pupuseria is a family-centered authentic Salvadoran cuisine restaurant concept that serves food that is delicious and fresh. They’re famous for their pupusas, which are like an arepa or a new take on a Spanish-style pizza… The rest of the menu is really good too. I’ve been here around five times and keep coming back to eat more pupusas and other items. Great place to go with friends or family to relax and eat. I could confidently say it is the best Spanish food in Brooklyn Park and the best pupusas in Minnesota. Zoila and Cristian are the owners, and they really put their heart and soul into serving good comfort food....

First time to this new restaurant and it was a great experience. First of all the music playing in the background was infectious, kept our toes tapping while we waited for our food to be served and while eating! The food was great… we ordered Cheese and chicken Pupusas that came with aside of a delicious pickled slaw and a tomato based dipping sauce. Also had Shredded beef stuffed (empanadas) Pastelitos Salvadoran that came with a side of pickled slaw and a tomato based dipping sauce. We wrapped it up with an order of classic nachos. All tasted great, can’t wait to go back and surf the menus for...
