I’ve visited this location quite a few times and have recently learned I’ve been getting screwed. I ask for a decaf coffee and instead they offer a decaf americano because there is no decaf brewed. I was okay with it until I realized that they are charging me extra because they don’t want to brew decaf. If it was closer to the end of the day where a pot of decaf would go to waste, I’d understand. But this is always in the morning. For medical reasons, I don’t drink regular coffee. So I have to shell out an extra 30 cents each time because they’re too inconsiderate and/or lazy to make decaf. 30 cents doesn’t sound like much, but it adds up. I received one of those email surveys and let them know what happens and my thoughts and asked to be contacted. Never heard a word. The staff is very nice so I don’t know if it’s management telling them not to make decaf. Until something changes, I’ll be shopping with a business who cares like Starbucks.
Update 02/28 - Caribou reached out and worked to resolve the issue. I appreciate their efforts. I was told my comments will be shared with the district’s leadership team. I haven’t gone back to this location yet, but I will and hopefully see changes. Added 2 stars for the corporate...
Read moreI went to this caribou today and I had my dog in the backseat, so the girl asked if I wanted a pup cup and of course I said yes. My dog loves pup cups with whip cream in it. He started scarfing it down and then he stopped abruptly and I looked in the cup and there was not whip cream at the bottom but a watery substance. I placed the cup aside and about halfway home my dog had thrown up all over the backseat and has thrown up 3 more times since and is incredibly ill now. It seems his stomach is causing him pain and he just seems miserable. My dog is like my child so this is very important to me. I don’t think anything was intentional but maybe the barista didn’t shake up the can of whip cream or something but something was definitely off about it. If anymore developments come of this I’ll...
Read moreI'm not mad, I'm just disappointed. When someone doesn't know how to do something, that's okay! You learn something new everyday, but don't lie to me and tell me you can't do something. I.e. when I order a drink a certain way, which I have done via the app and in person at this very location several times, telling me "we actually can't do that." So. Either you're lying to me or I've been lied to every time I've ordered this in the past. Either puts this place in a very poor light. If the former, suggest management trains the employees to slow down and ask questions instead of lying to customers. I'd rather be asked to wait a moment over...
