Horrible service. I ordered a pandan coconut cake for my sons 1st birthday on a Tuesday to pickup on a Friday. They gave me a durian and pandan cake without me knowing. I called to complain only to be told that they always inform their customers which cake is which. Had that been the case, I wouldn’t have chosen a durian one and the coconut one should’ve been provided since it was already pre ordered. The only questions that were asked is if the cake was a for a girl or boy and if I wanted writing on it. I let them know this when I called and was constantly repeated the same thing. After some back and forth, they said they’d give me a call back after checking the system. It’s been 2 days and I have not received a refund or a call back on the $60 cake that nobody ate.
The sad part was that I was not even mad until they decided to play the confusion card and act as if they are right. As a business owner myself, I would never do this to someone, especially if it involved a cake for a special occasion. A simple refund or even half refund would’ve been appropriate, yet I received nothing - not even an apology.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. I hope they clean up their act and realize they ruined my sons 1st birthday.
I have to edit my review to be able to respond to the owner response below. The fact that you are still blaming me is ridiculous. I was clear in my dates, I ordered on Tuesday for a Friday pickup for a coconut pandan cake. The party was on a Saturday so calling the day of the incident would still be off from the date of pickup. Also, why would respond to my review instead of calling me and resolving the matter like you said you would when you took my number down to “check your system”. I have yet to receive any calls or a solution to the matter. Again, 0...
Read moreMy family & I came here for Mother’s Day.. First red flag, they gave us dirty cups with finger prints on them & lip stick print on one of them. Asked the waitress to bring clean cups so he brought out different ones. Before ordering my food I let the Waitress know that my daughter is allergic to eggs & peanut. I ordered her some chicken wings & asked if they could make egg free fried rice. When the fried rice came out, it looks very clear that it didn’t have any eggs in it so I proceeded to give it to my daughter & as going through the rice, I noticed there was eggs in the rice. I talked to the waitress again & showed him them egg pieces in the rice & reminded him she can’t have eggs. They said they would make a new one and when they brought that one out, it was clear as they not having to dig in the rice that there was a piece of egg sitting on the plate, bright yellow. at that point, I just told them never mind, I don’t want it. The lady waiter had an attitude while grabbing my plate.. I did have to give my 1 year old Benadryl cus she started having a reaction around her mouth. Also , everybody at my table all had their food already. I asked the waitress if he placed my order in, he said he did. Mind you already was waiting 30 mins for food. Another 25 mins passed and I still haven’t received my food and everyone at my table by this time already finished their food. I ended up just boxing my food n left because I lost my appetite at this point. I don’t think they realize how serious food allergy is for people. No apologies or anything. I will never come back...

MT Noodles is one of my go to spots for Vietnamese. It's out of the way for me, but then again, it's one of the closest options. Their large egg rolls are delicious, my toddler actually eats them, and I love the #7.
With that said, my visit today left me so(ooo) frustrated. With a young toddler and a baby, I usually avoid ordering from places without curbside or a drive thru if I have them in tow. Today, I placed an order, paid over the phone, and drove the 17 minutes thinking I'd get curbside as I have in the past because the person I spoke to said they would accommodate and it wasn't busy. I was told to call when I got there and they'd bring it out, but when I got there and called, I was told point blank by a different person that I'd have to come in to get my food.
If I had known this, I wouldn't have ordered and gone out of my way. Anyone with multiple young kids knows it's stressful enough. Once I hauled everyone in, the new person I had spoken to did nothing to explain why they could no longer provide curbside (only three tables were occupied), and handed my food off (no need to sign a receipt, etc.). I spent the next however many minutes fighting my shrieking toddler back into his car seat, while my infant screamed.
I know it's probably a small thing to some, but I think I'll be taking a break from MT Noodles after this. I can understand if there are staff shortages or it's busy, but MT Noodles should definitely consider providing curbside as a service as I want to support small...
