Was there on August 30. 2025 with 2 friends. We were having a good day until we stopped at tge brooklyn Ct DD.
I took my friend's orders and stood waiting at the counter for aboutv7 minutes. Thete was no one standing behind me in the line when I first stood there but the line had become long when I asked politely after waiting a long time for someone to address the customer's at the counter inside the store. There were at least 6 staff that I could see buzzing around but their main concern was the window.
There was an older woman with dark hair and glasses standing nearby the counter doing something. She had a miserable look on her face and would not acknowledge me.
I then asked politely "may I place my order?" At that she looked up at me with the worst demeanor imaginable like she wanted to kill me and viciously without any hesitation started verbally abusing me in front of all the staff and customers in the store. I actualky couldn't believe what was spewing from this employee's mouth. Obviously. She had no problem verbally assaulting a customer which she most likely did to others. I did not say anything back to her and almost immediately another employee cane and started taking orders from the counter.
I ordered an avocado toast which cost 5 dollars. It came to me untrusted with a smidgen of green on the bread. It was totally unacceptable in every way.
I called the Dd headquarters no answer. Told to go on the site. After a good effort I was able to.place an email customer complaint.
They got back to me saying they were sorry and that I would hear from one of their area managers.
I put in my complaint and asked to be refunded by mail for the uncooked food.
I made several complaints and they just sent me a survey which I rejected.
The manager is Nicole who never was available when I called. There was no manager supervising the staff on a very busy Saturday at 1145am.
I reported this to the company and told him thst no employee should work there who abuses customers the way their employee abused me. Aldo. I advised them to look at their reviews because the store needs a complete customer service overhaul including the staff and manager Nicole.
I have never liked Dunkin Donuts but was there because my friends asked to go there
Dunkin Donuts has been boycotted by me and I have passed the word around to those I know.
A lot of people hate Dd and I am now one of them.
Go somewhere else where you can get better food and decent customer service. There are plenty of coffee...
Read moreI had just gotten hired here and basically what happened was I called them explained what happened this morning/last night, I told her that I have a condition called epilepsy and all this and then told her that yesterday I was having staring spells which is what I do before I have seizures and I just kept having them so I decided it was best I didn’t go into work because of all those seizure symptoms I was having so right when I woke up I went to turn on my phone so I could call Dunkin (it was plugged in and everything) but it was dead so then I went to back to sleep woke up again my phone was still dead so then I told my boyfriend I needed to use his phone and I called Dunkin and explained my situation like I had just said and then I asked if I would be able to come in Thursday morning instead and then the girl on the phone says and I quote “that should be okay let me go ask” so then she comes back (the girl on the phone is not the manager) and basically tells me that they hired someone else and that I was fired…the manager couldn’t even tell me this..this phone call happened ONE hour after I was supposed to clock in so I know no one had an interview at 6 o clock in the morning at Dunkin’ Donuts because why would they have an interview at the same time they would be “training” the new person and if you’re reading this thinking “you shouldn’t have done that because you may have been fine” I woke up still feeling the same way I felt last night so I strongly believe I did the right thing and that I was discriminated against and that is...
Read moreNormally this store is great. I always use the mobile app but this morning it wouldn't accept it. So I went through the drive through as I normally do and made the order at the speaker. My bad- instead of saying latte, I said espresso. I got to the window and was handed two cups. Both of different weight. One was labeled medium coffee and one espresso. So I handed them back and said one wasn't right and the other felt light. A woman with blonde hair and no mask (who was working the ovens and making food) began explaining the difference between espresso and latte in a rude one. She actually said when you say espresso you don't get a latte. So I replied, I come here everyday. I know the difference and made a mistake.
She turned to me and said, "Well, we work here everyday, so we know the difference." At that point, having been chastised, I asked if there a manger. She said snidely, "that would be me." So I asked who her boss was. She said I'm actually the GM for the region so you have to deal with me." Her smirk was not only rude but challenging me to say something more. I asked for her name and she paused before answering me.
