If I could rate a zero, I would.
I have debated back and forth for the last month if I should post about this location, because I hate leaving negative reviews. But this experience has been digging at me for sometime that I need to say something.
I live in the area of this location, and have always loved chipotle, and was excited when they opened one close by. I ordered my food for pick up, and at this location, all pickups are received through their drive through window. I spent easily over 30min in this line as I watched the three cars in front of me randomly drive off without any exchange of food. I finally got my chance at the window. As I pulled up, I noticed a blinking light which I would assume is there to alert the staff that someone is at the window. Several employees came by the window, but not one of the even looked in my direction. After waiting another 10min in that spot I decided to drive off and park. As I walked inside, I see that they have a full staff behind the counter. And maybe two people in line. Not busy at all to justify the lack of attention I received at the drive window or when I walked in. I walked up to the counter and had to flag someone down to even acknowledge my existence. Apparently right behind the counter, and relatively close to the drive window is a wire rack packed full of orders. Which seemed like a food safety violation to me, the fact that these bags were not maintained at an appropriate temperature. The employee looked annoyed when I told them I was there for a pick up and had to sort through the piles for my bag. When I got home and opened my food, it seriously felt like my food was in the freezer for the last 45 minutes. I’m not one to turn down or throw away food, but I physically could not eat this meal.
I’ve worked in retail, and the food service industry my entire life. And I understand the frustrations and difficulties that can arise. But this was simply the worst experience I have ever had. And quite frankly, I have and will probably be boycotting chipotle for the forceable future because of this experience.
I see other reviews trying to justify this locations horrible service by saying it was open during the pandemic. And that’s simply not true. It’s a brand new location that opened when restrictions were lifted in the area, and it has a huge customer base surrounding its doors. And as I described earlier, it has a drive through window to help with any restrictions it thought it might have in the future. This to me is a pure example of poor management and desperate hiring of staff that do not care.
I do not recommend this location. For service, quality, or even...
Read moreI live by this chipotle and try to give it a chance every once in a while due to a limited amount of other convenient options for food, but it’s not worth anymore chances. They forget sides, you’ll order online and they will be out of something but instead of telling you, they let you leave without knowing until you’re home and realize oh, they didn’t put my guac on that I was charged for, and either they forgot or they were out but no one says anything, no one gives you the option to choose something else as a backup, no one offers the refund. The service is poor and the ingredients are not fresh. The quality of the guacamole is really sad, more chunks of yellow avocado than any actual dip. The salsa is overwatered and sour, the beans are undrained and sog up your meal, the chips are either undercooked and doughy or overcooked and stale. and today for the first time when I went through the painful steps of their AI run help center after my order was missing items and the items that weren’t missing were gross, I finally got to a live agent and this was their response. Nope, here’s a free drink, we can’t compensate your inedible meal even though you spend $15 on a cheese quesadilla that was missing 1 of the 3 sides, and the guac you did receive was all yellow stringy chunks, and the included side of vinaigrette is actually 1/10 of the way full of a tiny to go cup, if I know that why would I choose that as a whole side when I only get 3… Forgot my beans, stale, dry chips… so I spent all that money for an inedible meal, a “free” drink, and a new hate for...
Read moreI came in for a lunch pickup order yesterday and had a bad experience. I order here often and it is usually decent but my last order wasn't. I went in to no line and asked about my order and the employee said that it would be ready soon at the pickup area. I was a few minutes early so I can completely understand the delay. I waited ten minutes past the time it was due and still there was nothing. By that time there was a line and multiple people had their food prepared before my order was even started. I had to wait in line to get the order that I already had paid for which cost me more valuable time from my lunch break. The employee had the order complete by the time that I was at the counter which was way past the time that it was supposed to be ready. He handed me the order and forgot to give me a cup for my drink. I had to ask a few times to get something that I paid for. The other problem was that it seemed like my order had less ingredients then people walking in and ordering. I'm not sure if this was because I ordered online but it needs to be addressed. One last problem with this location is the huge pothole in the parking lot. This really should be fixed because it's so bad that it could cause serious damage to someone's vehicle if they...
