McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Broussard

Nope! Definitely, dissatisfied with my carryout order today. Ordered the Giant Chipotle Chicken & Bacon Spud (usually my favorite) customized; no green onions, add: avocado, sour cream, extra butter, cheddar cheese & chipotle ranch. Arrived to be told they were out of cooked/warmed potatoes and that it would be an additional 10 - 15 minute wait time - OK - I patiently waited. Circled back to the drive-up window (for the 3rd time) and received a small bag with 1/2 of my potato and the dessert I ordered. Bewildered, I said, this can't be right, the potato container used to be larger than this! The person at the window shrugged and said, "That's it, then told me to hold on and went to make/retrieve the other 1/2 of my potato. Halfway back to the office, I noticed there was no chicken or bacon on either half. Tried calling the restaurant three times, but the phone just rang. Turned around and went back to get my order corrected. I told the person at the window they forgot to put the meat on the potato, to which they stated, "Normally, it tells us to put chicken strips, etc. and it didn't have that on the slip." I explained what my online order showed. Needless to say, the manager corrected my order and apologized, but it was obvious that even she was confused by what I had received. Unfortunately, not worth my $24.00. Note: I would have preferred to give a rave review, but...

Terrible experience at this location. Went during lunch hour on a Monday to dine in and service was incredibly slow with no warning that service might be slow. Not sure if they were prioritizing drive through customers or if there was a big catering order. As I waited for my food (at least 20 minutes from order to receiving food), I watched several other patrons wait for extended periods.

The restaurant had typical music playing in the dining area, but also had completely different music blaring out of the kitchen area. Both the dining area music and kitchen music were loud which was awful. I was not seated close to the kitchen. Finally, my order was incorrect (but actually delicious so very minor inconvenience that I would otherwise not have noted).

I usually love McAlister's and was very disappointed...

My issue is I went and picked up my orderer # 27783930204553217, $69.67 I was missing 1 Grilled chicken Caesar salad and 1 Four cheese melt when I arrived home we seen we where missing the items when I called and complained to the Manager without her even going to check the store surveillance footage of her store to see if I did or did not receive my order she said the cashier claim that she checked the order and I received everything so pretty much I’m a liar and calling them for free food, but I will never ever eat at another McAllister restaurant and I will pass it on to my family and friends so be sure to check your food Before you Drive off so your not called a liar...
