I recently got a togo meal at Thai District in Brownsburg on November 6, and I must say that the entire experience was strange. After driving home, I realized that my order was made incorrectly, so I quickly called the restaurant. The initial phone interaction with a lady didn’t get me anywhere at first. Her response was essentially, "What do you want me to do then?"
I suggested that a reasonable solution would be to provide a credit so that I could return at a more convenient time. She agreed to this, and said she would write my name down so that I could come in. However, upon arriving at the restaurant and explaining the situation to the lady at the front desk, she claimed to have no recollection of me or my order. This was despite the clear evidence on my bank statement, which showed the charge from the establishment on the same day as my phone call.
I even showed her my phone records, which clearly indicated my calls, but she remained uncooperative. Instead of attempting to address the issue, she displayed a complete lack of willingness to help. Her repeated dismissive behavior and apparent attempt to undermine my concerns were extremely rude. She even went as far as denying the possibility that my order was incorrect.
I am not one to typically leave reviews, but the complete lack of customer service and professionalism made me want to write a review. Read moreOne of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. We went to celebrate mothers day and have a good time, but it was the worst disappointment. Upon arrival we asked if we could sit at a specific table, to which a guy said yes. Then a waitress came in very rudely and without giving us an explanation, she asked us to move to another table. This same waitress, after 15 minutes, took our order, which took half an hour to arrive. The waitress was never attentive to our table and only refilled our water glasses once. The music was very loud and when clearing the dishes from the table she was quite rude. At 9 o'clock they suddenly turned on the lights and a woman shouted very rudely that we had to leave because they were going to close. I have worked in customer service and I have always stayed until the last customer leaves. Due to the poor service, we decided not to leave a tip and this waitress walked out of the establishment after us to demand that we should give her a tip, to which my brother explained that a tip is not mandatory and they had treated us badly. We kept walking and another woman who also works there came out the back door of the restaurant and yelled at us: "Thank you for coming, don't ever come back." Read moreFirst off, I always read reviews before I go to a place just to make sure i keep an eye out for red flags but for some reason it skipped my mind. We went in through the back door, there was no one to seat us so we had to find our way in, still no waiter to seat us. Eventually a server came and asked us to take a seat, we were going for the booth when she told us that it was reserved . We obliged and sat we she wanted us to stay. After placing our orders , we noticed A family leaving and that means an empty booth for us like we wanted. I personally went to the waitress and asked her if we could switch she declined stating that she already gave a table number for out order which I felt was a flimsy excuse but my husband wasn’t having it and demanded for the booth but she engaged him in an argument asking why we don’t want to use a high chair instead and asked us to “ give her a reason why we don’t want a high chair” . It was ridiculous , eventually another waitress came and switched the table for us . The. The other one said something to her and she came back with our meal and rudely dropped it at the edge of the table. Long story short, we didn’t enjoy our meal, service was rude and inconsiderate and never for once apologized.
