Marlow's Chill & Grill Sports Bar — Restaurant in Brownstown Charter Township

I was there on 3/19/16 for a birthday party which consisted of maybe 15 people..there was 2 tables reserved for her party...It was not even busy that night and I'm saying that because our party was the only people that was on the dance floor and there were empty tables through the whole night. There were 2 waitresses working and the bar tender. It took on average 20 minutes to 1/2 hour for a waitress to make their way to us.. I even went to the bar tender asking her if I could order food thru her because I had already waited 25 minutes for a waitress to come to our table and she said she'd send a waitress over and that was another 15 minutes... Neither waitress was seen in the floor for me to even walk up to. Finally I placed my order for my potato skins. It was approximately 10pm. I got them at 1040pm... And the potatoes were raw...I did not have time to wait another 40 minutes so I just asked for a to go carrier so I could cook them longer at home. I asked for my bill and the girl billed my potato skins with another girls drinks which really wasn't a but deal but when she said our bill was $20 we asked how much the one drink was she said $5 ..(the girl paid $3.75 at the bar for the same drink earlier ) so that meant my potato skins were $15? So when I questioned that, her response was I'm overcharging everyone because I don't know the prices but once I ring it in I'll bring back your change. huh? The bar tender made our drinks real good so I have no complaints about her but you should train your waitresses a little better.. I won't be...

The food is good. The cook knows what he is doing. I have been there off and on over the years. Same cook usually when i go, normally same waiteress. Although the waitress (a different one from normal) I had the last time I was there was kind of rude. Her service to my face was...alright, but she ignored us to converse with another customer. The cook had to tell her we were ready to order (it took a minute I had to use the restroom.) She didn't even notice I had returned. Even though the woman she was talking to was sitting on the other side from where we were (at the bar next to the game screen) she didn't notice. Her first words to me were " well that took a while, are you ready to order now". Again the food is always good, so we tip the cook. We gave the waitress tips (to split and we made this clear) after we paid our bill, AND SHE KEPT THE COOKS TIP. We actually even waited to see if she would give him his, but speaking to the same other patron was more important. So we re-tipped the cook and left. He thanked us and that was that. All in all it is a good place to go and eat but watch out for this one waitress, so far she is the only...

Our waitress was nice, but had said she was new and only been there for 3 weeks. She was very slow with everything, but we kept seeing her stand arounding and talking to her coworkers. I ordered a drink and got it as a shot and it wasn't even made correctly. My boyfriend ordered a draft beer and got a bottle. Then, I ordered a cajun burger. All I got was a burger with jalepenos and melted cheese; no mayo, mustard or the cajun mayo that it said it came with. My boyfriend ordered 2 different types of wings, only 1 was correct. They replaced the hot wings with bbq wings, which is what he originally ordered; however when he got the wings they were still cold. The cook was also angry and tossing dishes in the kitchen but we could see him from our booth. So we paid $35 to be disrepected and get cold food. I will not be returning to this establishment...
