Abel's Cafe — Restaurant in Brownsville

I have visited this establishment five times, the first two times I went I was very pleased with the food and the service! Although I hate to say this but these last three times I have gone I’m sorry but management cannot fix something that they don’t know that’s going on, the service yes the girls go up to you are very friendly they ask you what do you want to drink,and then it takes them forever to come back with drink and to take your order. Afterwards it takes forever to get your food, and to make matters worse, it’s not cooked properly! If you return your plate it takes as long to get it and only the item that was wrong, is hot, everything else on your plate is cold! Definitely will not be going back or as I had been recommending it!! Definitely need to retrain waitresses (awesome job greeting) need to work on taking order correctly, and following up on...

I was so disappointed with our pickup order. The prices on the website are completely outdated as we were charged DOUBLE compared to the prices on their menu. Instead of $6.49 our total came out to over $12. Asked why the difference and the gentleman said the prices have changed and he knew the prices on the website were outdated. The service was bad the waitress was forgetting everything I had to ask her for are drinks & utensils 🤦🏻‍♀️😡 the food was horrible the rice & beans were cold the eggs they didn’t even cook them right it looked like they just threw them in the pan & took them out & put them in the plate🤮 the flour tortillas were rock hard the unsweet tea tasted like water it was not even brown like a regular unsweet tea after I put the sugar it just tasted like sugar water 🤦🏻‍♀️ never again...
