Bigo's Express — Restaurant in Brownsville

Just had dinner with my family of 4, had the worst experience I’ve had eating at a restaurant. I would give this place a zero if had the option. We arrived at 9:15, aware this establishment closed at 10 pm figuring we’d have enough time to enjoy dinner comfortably. Upon ordering the waitress informs us she had no flour tortillas, not because they were our but because the “comal was already turned off”.. at 9:15. Ok that was red flag number one. We ordered queso flameado that wasn’t even melted properly, and not to mention the cheese wasn’t even Oaxaca but shredded mozzarella. Beans were then brought to the table and they were also cold. At this point we were so dissatisfied. Finally our parrillada comes along with the extra side of sausage… dry fajita and burnt / dry sausage. It was almost as if the food was days old & just reheated. By now, It was now about 9:40 and the waitress comes over to hand us the check to please pay at this time because she needed to close her register for the night. We kindly accept and pay while the other waitress who was also working is now picking up all the chairs to place on the tables to start sweeping. I felt this was so rude and felt like we had to rush because they were in an hurry to get us out and close while this was still at 9:45 pm max. Over all horrible horrible experience. 0 stars if I could. First, the cashier didn't seem to know what she was doing. I ordered ahead of time and the girl said it'd take 15-20 mins. Took like 30+ mins to get my order, but I figured the food would be fresh and hot. I got 2 taco orders with charro beans and lemonades. When I got to my destination, mind you, it was only 4 minutes away, the food was cold, the beef was dry and probably days old. The onions were over cooked and greasy. The lemonades didn't have ice, they were hot. The beans needed to be cooked more. I am so disappointed and frustrated, I wanted my brother who has been hospitalized for the past 2 weeks to have a nice meal and couldn't even get him that. Will never come...

I was very disappointed on my order . I ordered the usual The texana it came with beans a la charra and ordered a chori queso and rice. The beans were awful ,the worse I've ever tasted. The beans were just boiled in water and No salt added and were still not fully cooked. The rice had No flavor the chori queso was burned . The fajitas were tender but tasted a little burned. I spent 57 dollars on dinner and was very disappointed. This will be the last time I EVER order from BIGO'S EXPRESS. I didn't even bother to call to complain what for it's not like they were going to refund my money. Next time I will just cook...
