Went to have breakfast yesterday 02/11/22 I was excited because everyone raves about the food and I was so disappointed. First we get there and there is an open table so I politely ask if the table is open or if there is a wait since there is no sign that indicates to wait to be seated. The lady tell us the table is open and to sit down so my mom and I sit down then another lady from behind the counter starts yelling loudly you need to get up because there’s someone ahead of you. So everyone is looking at us and the embarrassment we felt was so upsetting. Then 3 tables were cleaned and they proceeded to say take a seat. I then told the waitress give me a table I’m not going to sit and be yelled at again to sit down. We are then given a table and the waitress takes forever to give us our drinks and take our order. Meanwhile everyone that arrived after us was give a table and waited on. Finally someone comes and takes our order. We waited forever for the food for it to be brought out wrong and super cold. When the meal is brought I tell the waitress my eggs were to be over medium not scrambled so she takes the plate and brings it back out and the eggs are over medium but it looked like they just scrapped the eggs off and put new ones because it had a huge chunk of scrambled egg on the side.

I hired them to cater for my wedding under my coordinators guidance. For anyone getting married, look to a different catering company. There were many issues that I wasn’t aware of the day of the wedding. Their workers were eating our food while working, picked up plates that weren’t eaten, cold food, bad attitudes, to name a few. I was told these things after by the coordinator. When all the issues were brought to the owner, Ricardo, we were met with hostility, and sarcasm. To add insult to the wound, his workers denied it all. Lastly, the coordinator asked that all the food that was left over be put in to go plates and left at the venue. Only half of the food was left. The owner tried making it right by giving a refund but it wasn’t without a fight of who was right and who was wrong and how much was the “right amount”. I let him make it right but the sour taste remains due to his deflective attitude about it all. Customer service - very poor. He clearly does not understand how big of an undertaking a wedding is and how important the day is to the people involved. Once again, look for a different company to cater for your very...
Read moreMy family and I used to love eating at Ricardo's but it has sadly gotten too many locations for it's own good and the quality has suffered because of it. The owner used to be a regular at the Alton Gloor location, but now she's hardly ever there and it shows in the quality of the food and customer service. My wife, her parents and I were given our receipt ticket when that has never been the practice before since both my wife and I are regulars. It should be noted that there was no other patrons waiting for tables at that time. I asked why we were given our tab and they tried to make a joke out of it by saying "if you're not gonna order more food we're required to give it to you". Just sharing my disappointment at the Alton Gloor location and hopefully somebody that cares will read this review and try to work on improving the customer service for all, especially your regular customers who know your business routine/practice.
