La Siberia Original — Restaurant in Brownsville

Tried ordering tacos but they only had the Pirata taco so we ordered a Chicken Deshebrada Tostada to go instead but I would not recommend it. It tastes like a mix of tuna fish & canned chicken in water on top of an avocado spread with a touch of sour cream sandwiched between two old stale tortillas tostadas. "To go" doesn't even come on foam plate or even wrapped in aluminum foil, its just half wrapped in a small piece of wax paper inside a brown paper bag. I expected better for the price tag. I ended up giving the rest away to someone with nothing else to eat & he ran for the toilet while we were in mid conversation. I got myself Taco Palenque instead which was cheaper than this place. My experience was simply HORRIBLE! I went during lunch time with my friend. The place was empty, as soon as we sat down we noticed flies were everywhere. I decided to ordered a tostada, three bites in I noticed A BLACK HAIR THROUGH THE CHICKEN. I got grossed out and rapidly told the manager about it. She was extremely rude about it, making me feel uncomfortable like it was my fault it was there. My hair is not even black, I told her. She asked me if I wanted anything else but not in a nice way, instead she sounded angry and rude. Of course I told her no, I was grossed out so bad. I really enjoyed my lunch for one. Very nice quiet and a delicious meal. Waitress lizbeth very hospitable recomend me this dish and no regrets was so good I recomend it to, the sauce on it is nit to spice just right gives it great flavor.
