I rarely felt compelled to leave a negative review, but my recent visit to Branding Iron left such a sour taste in my mouth that I cannot let it go unnoticed. My family and I ordered a burger combo, two burger and wing combos, and a few other food items. Little did we know that we were about to embark on a rollercoaster of frustration. Fifteen minutes after placing our order, our waiter told us that our burger-wing combo was not on the menu and the person that took the order was new and did not know about it. (the sales receipt said burger-wing combo). To add insult to injury, she asked us to pay the difference for a more expensive alternative. I requested to speak with the person in charge. The waiter informed me that the manager was not there. I agreed to pay the additional amount, hoping for a resolution to the debacle that was unfolding before my eyes. To my astonishment, the lady in charge casually strolled out from the kitchen while discussing the matter. It became glaringly evident that I had been deliberately lied to by the waiter. After some back and forth, the lady in charge finally acknowledged the situation's absurdity. She reluctantly agreed to refund me the amount I had been coerced into paying due to their mistake. Fifty minutes later, they still had not served our meals. We saw other patrons being served and asked the waiter why our meal was taking so long. She informed us that they had started preparing until the situation was resolved. At that moment, we asked for a refund a left the restaurant. The person in charge never came by our table to try and resolve the issue. In conclusion, my visit to the Brading Iron on Ruben Torres was an utter disappointment from start to finish. The unscrupulous actions of the staff, particularly the initial deception and subsequent lackluster response, left a lasting negative impression. I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone who values honesty, integrity, and a pleasant dining experience.    Read moreWent here at lunch time on a Monday. I was the only person here aside from another table in the corner. When you first walk in and it's your first time here you probably won't know where to order your food from. You order at a very small counter in the corner of the restaurant on the opposite side of the entrance. The place is brand new, but you wouldn't know that from looking at the place, but I'll get to that later. When you order your food you have to get all your burger toppings from a small topping station. The toppings are pretty basic, it's just lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions and jalapenos. They also have the ketchup, mustard and mayo here. The burger came out pretty quick. I got the combo number one with cheese which is just a regular burger combo. The buns were nice and toasted with butter. The meat looked pretty good as well. After I topped it off with my toppings and took my first bite it was delicious, but the meat patty, honestly, felt a little cheap, almost like a frozen patty. Either way it was delicious. The fries were not so great, not much else I can say about the fries. Anyway, back to the appearance of the restaurant. The color scheme of this place is pretty gloomy. Black and grey. It's also just a big open room that already look worn out which is weird because it's only a couple of months old. It's not a big deal but I feel like I should...
Read moreI recently dined at Texas branding iron burgers for the first time, and I must say that the experience was truly amazing. The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the mouthwatering burgers. The burgers were nothing short of amazing. Each bite was a flavorful explosion, with juicy patties cooked to perfection and a delectable combination of toppings that tantalized the senses. My boyfriend had the double and cheese and I added mushrooms to mine. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and the flavors were well-balanced. Whether you prefer classic cheeseburgers or adventurous flavor combinations they are both great options. What made the experience even more unique was the presence of a bike shop right inside the restaurant. This combination of a burger joint and a bike shop created a distinctive and inviting atmosphere. It added a touch of character and provided a captivating backdrop for the dining experience. The staff at Burgers & Bikes were friendly, accommodating, and passionate about their craft. Their enthusiasm was infectious, creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment. The overall ambiance was excellent. The combination of delicious food, a bike shop, and the attentive staff made for an exceptional dining experience. In conclusion is a must-visit for burger enthusiasts and bike...
