Ricardo's Tortilla Bakery — Restaurant in Brownwood

Normally I don’t post reviews but this warrants it. I sent my husband to pick up some burritos for our office. When he got back- 2 of the burritos were messed up and mine had a hair in it. I called the store and asked to speak with a manager. I let the manager know what happened and told him I don’t want anything from them but just wanted to make them aware of the situation. He demanded I bring the burritos back and I told him I couldn’t do that as we are all the way across town but I’d be glad to send him a photo and again told him we don’t want anything just wanted them to be aware. Again he told me to bring the burritos back so he could see for himself. I let him know that I could not do that but I’d be more than happy to send a photo if he could give me a number to send it to. He was quiet for about 15 seconds and then hung up on me! I understand mistakes happen but taking zero accountability and hanging up on your customer is just plain rude. Picture of the...

Food was surprisingly bland, especially the refried beans. I had a steak/Bean and cheese burrito and didn't really care for it.

Then the salsa was a bit sweet, I prefer more savory; however it still had good flavor for a sweeter hot sauce. Oh, and it was very hot, used a lot of Jalapeno's. So, if u like very hot salsa then u have to get an order of chips and salsa from here. That brings me to their chips, they make their own chips and are on the thicker variety of tortilla chips, and have a good seasoning covering them that pairs nicely with the salsa. If you want an establishment that has no parking, skimpy portions, and staff that are rude to their customers and delivery people, this is the place for you. I’ve given them multiple chances as a customer but now you couldn’t pay me to eat here. I only do delivery from this place if I absolutely have to. It seems no matter what I’m leaving with a back handed attitude or snarky comment thrown my way. I can’t say anything for the workers in the back but the old ladies up front need to find a new profession if serving people is too much. I will be contacting the owner.
