EZPAWN (2027 South Texas Avenue, Bryan) — Local services in Bryan

I use to come to this store all the time , especially when Bobby worked and Felicia! About a few months ago something changed big time. There "computer system" that figures the price is totally jacked up. Bought a 4k 55" TV last November for $450 BRANDNEW from amazon. Wanted to upgrade and sell speaking tv to EZ for what I thought would be a good rate. There system offered $150 for my TV that's only 8 months old! Now I know they work they'll put same TV on shelf for sale $100 under my retail $450 price and sell it to the next person for $350 dollars and call it a great deal. All along the sell took 15minutes to do while EZ pawn profits $200 ?! I think not. . . Not Me. . I was a loyal EZ pawn customer and frequently get loans on my stuff and ALWAYS get my stuff out. If you need a loan and don't mind paying something like 15% over loaned rate ..go it's good business all day. BUT IF YOU WANT TO SELL JUST KNOW YOUR GONNA GET POUNDED YOU KNOW WHERE.

Something else ... Before the change it was your average decently pawnshop. Now it's like your walking into hood corner store. No one buys all those used Tennnie Shoes but one one kinda person . They have a lot of shoes no one's buying. PS5 selling in this pawnshop for $800 as of the date when this post was made when best buy has them every Thursday for $499. Who's really the scalpers ? Pawned a few guns to get through a rough spot. Made my monthly payments on time for two months. Just tried to get my guns out 6 days before the next payment is due and was told they could not do it at this time since their managers credentials aren’t working to do background checks. I offered to pay the amount off in full and come back to do the background checks and pick up my guns later. They said no. I informed them I don’t think I’ll be able to be back before another monthly payment is due, and I shouldn’t have to pay another payment as I’m here now trying to get them out. All they would say is “well you can make a $150 payment and that will extend your loan another month”. After I definitively explained I wouldn’t be making another payment as I’m here today to get my guns. Their solution was to use the managers bad credentials which would freeze my guns for a week, hence forcing another monthly payment from me. Absolute crooks trying to squeeze what they can without holding to their contractual responsibilities. Now I’m having to rearrange my work week because of their incompetence. Will never come here or any ez pawn again and definitely don’t recommend them to...

Trashy place, trashy counter, trashy floors, employees with bad attitudes. They make you supply extra items the original item didn't even come with, thereby cutting the value of the trade in half for you and basically doubling it for them and they actually think they're in the right when their business should be buying them in bulk for pennies for just such a situation. Poc woman looks over from across the room as soon as I start interacting with other employee and curtly asks "does it work?" Keep in mind she didn't even examine it, just spews some bad attitude as I stare at my mint condition item and ponder the words she just said and wonder how a person like that got hired. Yes you're right, I brought in a non functioning item to a hole like this and expected to make big money.
