Jumpin Beanz — Restaurant in Bryan

EDIT: she said something to the manager and they gave us free coffee. Coffee was pretty good this time!

We usually go to biggby here in Bryan, but sometimes we want something different so we go to Jumpin Beanz. The last time we went, my mocha coffee did not taste like coffee or mocha. This time, both of our coffees tasted like water. She got a Carmel iced latte with the sweet foam brew. Hers tasted like water with sweet foam flavoring and a after taste of coffee. I got a mocha coffee again. Mine tasted like nothing, but water. We used to love going here in the years past, but will not go here again because it seems like the coffee has gone downhill. Cute coffee shop. But my husband and I stopped on our way to a reunion to get a pick me up with our kids in tow. My husband stood at the counter to order while I took my daughter to the bathroom and was completely ignored. Someone else walked in and they took his order.

I got back and stood at the counter and still no one took our order. I had to say something loud enough for then to hear me about leaving since no one would take our order for them to even pay any attention to us.

We ordered two coffees, one hot 16oz sweet bee latte and one 24 oz iced sweet bee latte. The hot one was great, but the iced one was so overly sweet, all you could taste was the honey and not any coffee at all.

Jumpin Beanz has a nice location on the West side of Bryan, on the corner of High St. and Townline Rd. You may enjoy your favorite coffee blends indoors, al fresco or get yours to go through the drive thru. Truthfully, I've never had a liking for coffee until a friend introduced me to a Jumpin Beanz latte. As embarrassing as it may be to admit, I've understood very little about the varying options. The staff was generous about taking the time to explain with a smile. I've been to many events in which they have provided beverages and pastries for. I always hear positive statements about their coffee and tasty treats. I highly recommend you to stop in and experience Jumpin Beanz...
