Taco Cabana — Restaurant in Bryan

Maybe go there twice a month. Two days ago I went inside and placed an order to go. Paid for it and set down to wait for it. A few people sitting down and there was another man waiting for his order ahead of me. About 5 minutes later, an employee walked to the man waiting ahead of me and handed him a plastic bag supposively with the carry out order. I don't know what the order contained and observed the man placing his food by the condiments table and did not pay anymore attention. As the man was leaving, an employee walked up to the man and gave him a new box of food and took the one away he had originally given to the man. I watched the employee walk back behind the food preparation counter with the black food container he had taken from the man. A minute later, the employee handed me the black food container in a plastic bag and said nothing. I left and drove 10 miles back to my home and thought about what had happened at the restaurant. My order was given and taken away from the other customer. Did the other customer contaminate my food, I don't know so I threw the bag of food away. I have two experiences 1st one: I came around 10pm wanted breakfast. I ordered several taco with egg,bean,bacon and cheese. I paid was told to move into the other lane cool. A guy came out and apologized I guess someone threw out the bacon they had to cook some more cool. I wasn't tripping because he was nice to come and tell me. They ended up making up for my time which I appreciated.

2nd time again after coming from visiting at the hospital I came to Taco Cabana. This time I truly was irritated. I came at 9pm the woman said they don't have bacon. Okay you could have cooked some never offered I would have waited. Then they didn't have potatoes I am like what do you have. They had steak which is expensive but okay I ordered some tacos. Tell me why she asked me to pull over and wait. I could have have saved money and waited for what I wanted if they would have cooked it like they did before. I truly was just annoyed as I waited for my food. I try not to make a fuss but if I had to wait why not make me wait for...

Good food for the most part however I would like to see in the build your own burrito item that their is more quality, I ordered the build your own burrito with chicken fajita meat beef fajita meat along with refried beans and double cheese. The issue that made me struggle to even give a 3 star was that it was way overloaded with beans and seemingly barely a single serving of cheese and not much of a the meats as requested. I suggest a more balanced portion of each item and double cheese means extra should be enough to notice and not question rather it is even a single original serving. Other than that I will compliment the drive threw staff the person was friendly and I believe she was new it seemed as someone was training her but she did well. But I truly believe the quality of the burrito is better than the quantity of the beans. I will recommend hungry people to give it a shot if your not pleased than I encourage you to give a...
