IHOP — Restaurant in Bryant

Please train your servers and manager on customer service. I totally get being short staffed in the kitchen… communicate that with your customers. Being in a family full of servers, we would have been very understanding but you guys let it be a surprise… so shame on you. After waiting for food for over an hour, we asked how much longer. Was told that 8 other tables were first since their waits were double of ours. I don’t want to know how bad the service is for other people, I want to know how much longer I need to entertain the 3 toddlers in the middle of the restaurant. Our server did bring snacks for our starving and now crying kids when asked - thank you Vivian.

My slimy over easy eggs were very crunchy from the egg shells, pancakes were falling apart when putting butter on - had to eat with a spoon, French toast & hash browns under done, when some of the food came due to sporadic wait times on food delivery - we still had to wait for silverware (had to stir our coffees with our water straws or fingers), almost enough napkins for everyone to get one, and the list goes on. I did ask for a discount from the manager and received it, but no apology or offer to replace the bad food.

If service continues to decline, you might want to consider a self serve customer option for coffee, water, utensils, napkins, creamer, syrup, etc. And maybe offer fruit/crackers/crayon stuff for kids on long wait days.

Note for management: “Please consider walking the dining room to communicate with tables directly about delays. The servers financially suffer when the kitchen is slow and servers have NO CONTROL over that. We did not have spectacular service but suspect that is from lack of management direction...

We have been in Arkansas for the last week and had an amazing time here! Everyone has been so friendly and nice! Every place we have eaten the food was fantastic and our server's were absolutely the best until we ate at IHOP! The person that seated us didnt hide the fact he didnt want to be there, really had the impression that we were bothering him by coming in to eat an hour before closing. I asked for coffee 3 times she finally brought it and said this is a fresh ! No it was not fresh! I've had bad coffee before and that was by far thee worst coffee I've ever had! Waited for quite a while for our order, then really was upset when people that came in after us had their order! Personally I think our server forgot to turn the order in! We finally got our order, after just looking at the food I was wishing she did forget! My eggs were not cooked, all slimy, hash browns and bacon sausage, burned! Pancakes were cold and not cooked, cut in to it and middle was batter! My husband had 2 bites of his omelet and nothing from the pancakes!! If I was a server and saw food was not eaten I would definitely want to know why! Not our server she could have cared less! We have enjoyed our visit, Arkansas is a beautiful State and we plan to come back, we will never eat at that IHOP location again! I wish there was a no star...

Had dinner at this location tonight. I originally ordered a pickup order online because the website led me to believe you could not dine in. So my kids and I arrived to pick up our food and I saw people inside eating. So I asked if I could have our food there in the restaurant instead of pick up. Serenity our waitress was very kind and very helpful. She seated us right away got us our drinks and silverware. They even put our food on plates instead of just giving it to us in the to-go boxes which is what I expected because it was a last minute change. Ethan another worker was also very kind and helpful. The food was good even though the order was not correct. I asked for no sauce and got sauce but fortunately the sauce was good so it worked out. My son asked for fruit and not french fries but he got french fries. But he just ate them and totally forgot about the fruit so that worked out too. Anyway I will give the food a three and a half stars and I will give the service five stars!
