When my boyfriend and I were passing through the Benton/Bryant area a little over 2 weeks ago we decided to order Tropical Smoothie through their App. The items we ordered contained the vegan chicken. We were informed when we arrived that they were out of the meat substitute so we asked for a refund. We were told the manager was not there, so we could not have a refund. My boyfriend gave his contact info (as requested by the employee), his number was written down on our food receipt. We were told management would contact us about our refund asap. After several days without hearing from the manager, we called the Bryant location to inquire about our refund. We were again told that the manager was not working and that there wasn't anything that could be done. An nice employee offered to CashApp us the money we are owed, an offer we declined for obvious reasons. The employees expressed that they never really know when their manager will be working, that they show up when they feel like it. We've made other attempts to call this location to resolve this issue, we even emailed the corporate office. This location STOLE our money and seems to not care at all about correcting this issue. I actually feel bad for the employees that work for such a negligent management staff. This location is horrible, if zero 'stars' was an option that's...
Read moreFirst let me say that I love Tropical Smoothie Cafe. So, why the 2 star rating? Well that is because whomever owns or manages this particular location is inept. The past two times I have visited they have “been out of peanut butter” and more that once they have been out of their cappuccino powder. It’s not like either of these items have a short shelf life, so that means either they are really running out on the regular, which means whomever is in charge of ordering is not able to do their job properly or the employees just don’t want to make the shakes, which means their management skills are lacking. Also, locking the lobby doors well before you close (at least 1 hour and 15 minutes last night) is not good practice. I usually don’t put businesses in blast for this, but once I drive to a location more than once in a couple of weeks, and they don’t have what I specifically drove there for, then all bets are off. If they have what you want, it is usually...
