I sent my order via mobile app an hour and a half before pick up at 5:30 pm. My order had two salads and one cup of soup, the salads were the current antipasto with chicken added. My order was not ready, even after showing up at 5:35 pm. I let the team know I was there to get my order and I was informed that they were "still working on it". Again, after an hour and a half of the submission of the order. Ten minutes later I was still waiting for my order, I rang the bell again. Jayden/Jaden came to the window. I, by this time, am extremely irritated due to the excessive wait after submitting my order long before pick up. I asked Jaden when my order will be ready, in a VERY CONDESCENDING MANNER he proceeded to tell me they were still working on my order. I asked how much longer, he replied, again in a very sarcastic and CONDESCENDING tone, "soon. We have a lot of online orders". I said I had two salads and soup, placing the order well in advance. Again, with sarcasm and attitude, he tells me I'll get my order when it's ready; he then closes the window. No apology, no empathy, NOTHING to indicate that the team was running behind or they had an issue. Nothing. I've never had this happen at this location before. I have always had great customer service!
The salads were NOT up to their usual standards. The bowls were only half full of greens and lettuce, the extras were minimal, at best. Poor service....
Read moreThis occurred on 06/29/2023 @ 7:00pm (Salad and Go on Indian School and Jackrabbit). Arrived at Salad and Go and the drive-thru line was backed up by at least 10-15 cars. But their salads are great so we waited. When I got up to place my order, I ordered 4 cobb salads and 4 drinks. It took the facility FOREVER to process cars through the drive-thru. From the time we arrived at the drive-thru, until the time we got up to the window to get our food was about 20-25 minutes. BUT…..when the lady opened the window, she said to me WITH ATTITUDE “ Next time you have an order this big, you need to order it online “ ! I looked at her like she was BAT $HIT crazy and didn’t say another word. I feel like, if I was ordering for a party of 10 or more, then yeah, I would order online or call the order in. But it was a spur-of-the-moment decision to pull in and have a few salads for dinner that night. The lady was blonde, long hair and wore glasses. Not sure if she was having a bad day or what…but I really don’t think that ordering 4 salads and 4 drinks warrants the need to tell your customer(s) to order online next time. Read moreI recently placed an order at this Salad and Go location while I was in town for a business meeting. After parking, I reviewed the menu online, selected my items, and placed my order. I waited about a minute before driving through the empty drive-thru lane. Since there were no cars ahead of me, I bypassed the speaker and went straight to the window. I turned off my SUV to minimize engine noise so the staff could hear me clearly.
When the window opened, the employee who greeted me seemed irritated and asked if I had placed an order. I explained that I had ordered online. She appeared confused, checked with her coworker, and then told me they were working on it. No big deal—I received my order less than a minute later.
However, before handing me the food, she advised me that in the future, I should stop at the speaker and let them know I’ve placed an online order so they can start preparing it and keep everything organized. While I understand the intention, her tone came off as unnecessarily rude and dismissive—especially considering there were no other vehicles in line.
It was an odd and off-putting experience. I won't be back in the area for another month, but next time I wont stop...
