Tacos Chilango — Restaurant in Buckeye

I'm always very skeptical when it comes to trying new taco places in AZ, especially carne asada as my family is from Sonora (carne asada is our thing lol) but, since this place opened up so close to home, we went ahead and tried it tonight. We ordered carne asada, al pastor, tripa, and suadero tacos to try some of each, along with an agua de jamaica and an horchata. The horchata was good, but I could taste that it was mostly ground cinnamon instead of actual cinnamon sticks used for flavor, not my fav but not horrible, and jamaica was decent. The carne asada was a bit over seasoned as marinade was a bit too salty for my taste (we usually only put some salt and it's great, no other ingredients needed), so it did deter from the actual "grilled" taste, which is what is disappointing in AZ as most carne asada is usually cooked on a flat top instead of actually grilled. The al pastor tacos were OK, but not from a trompo which was another thing we were looking forward to. Husband said his fav were the suadero out of all the choices we were trying. It was definitely refreshing to see that the cilantro and onion were actually fresh and tasty, but definitely needed more lime in the to-go prepacked containers. Ever since I was brought here since I was visiting from outside the city (come from Mesa AZ) I instantly loved the delicious food here. Just by the name "Chilango" I had very high expectations since I know food from Mexico City and surrounding areas are Top notch. I ordered thier Quesa Taco de Chicharron and let me tell you something LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING...they are the best Tacos I've ever had. The crunch of the tortilla and the juiciness of the meat, melted cheese and flavors just melt in your mouth. I've made a thing with my Boyfriend to go at least once a week when I'm visiting. The machete is also one of my favorite. The place is very clean with a modern welcoming indoor and outdoor sitting area, customer service is also top notch. I love that they have Beer and also a bar since they mentioned they have a dj play music late on the weekends. Haven't been able to visit them during dj time but surr will Brother!!!!! Worst experience ever! We were paying customers ready to eat the food that was just served. And I know that the customer is not always right, but I also know that if there is something wrong with the food you have the right to speak up. We were ask to leave after my husband told the person in charge (Arturo) that his taco was full of grease and half of the meat was lonja (fat). Arturo got in my husband’s face and asked how he can make it better, my husband said just don’t serve tacos this way. We weren’t asking for new food or our money, we just wanted to make them aware that the taco was not edible. I myself said Thank you it’s ok, because we wanted to eat the rest of our food. But Arturo would leave our table, he then said to us that he had right to refuse service to us. Not once twice, he also said we were rude to his employees, which we never even spoke too. I’m guessing that they don’t like when you say something is wrong with the food. People in charge of establishments for serving customers should NOT treat paying...
