Doña Juanita Taqueria was delicious. I had the barbacoa and lengua tacos. The barbacoa had a hint of a char on it, which was wonderful. The lengua melted in my mouth, but needed a bit of salt for my taste. (Remedied quickly with a salt packet). I thought the tacos were small until I opened the packages and they were packed with meat. More meat than tortilla. Served with a side car of creme salsa verde and cream red sauce, both which can add some flavor and kick. Filled up with two tacos and a soda. ($9.50), not including tip. The Barbacoa tacos are always extremely fatty. Sometimes I get a lime sometimes I don’t. They charge me for a bean, cheese and egg taco when I order a bean and cheese. I’m not sure if the egg just helps upcharge it, however I always ask for the taco NOT to come with eggs. They continue to put eggs in the taco. Won’t ring me up as a bean and cheese. This taqueria is a hidden gem with authentic, fresh flavors that truly shine in every bite! Their tacos are packed with delicious fillings and the salsas have just the right kick of spice. I especially love the California Burrito. Can't find one as good anywhere close by. Their barbacoa tacos are also incredible - tender, flavorful meat.
