Love this venue! Perfect size dance floor that is well maintained & a huge venue with several bars to ensure your taken care of. They have great bartenders who make solid drinks who quickly remember you and your preferences. Great dancing music played loud enough to have a good time without forcing you to lose your voice if you would like to sit at one of their plentiful seating arrangements to catch up with an old friend. Fun and trendy entertainment options outside with games like cornhole and fun swing-set seating options. On those few cold days in Texas they have fire pit seating arrangements and heaters to make the outside option still enjoyable. A unique, Semi private escape area can be enjoyed upstairs out on their 2nd floor deck which includes porch swings and saddle style seating overlooking the back area festivities and Buda shopping center skyline. Inside upstairs space offers a bird eye view of the main dance floor & has its own bar as well so you can take a break from the crowd and people watch or admire the plethora of fun and talented dancers below. Only on occasion does the dance floor ever get overly crowded and somewhat difficult to dance on without bumping into others (mostly on college nights on Thursdays) but otherwise that dance floor is definitely sized perfectly to represent Texas’s “everything’s bigger” motto. The dance crowd here is fantastic as well with a plethora of styles and abilities to experience. Best part is the dance culture or atmosphere here is far more approachable and the dancers are extremely inviting and un-intimidating. Not as clique y as some of the dance halls I’ve visited such as in San Antonio. Here, Many people are happy to offer ya some tips if you’d like and everyone dances with almost everyone without expectations or uncomfortable suggestions. It’s just all in good fun and the love of sharing a passion for dance. Parking is plentiful and lit up nicely with options for vip parking closer to front for an affordable fee. They have coat check options which is nice for those who sometimes just don’t have a place to store their keys in the cute outfit of choice for that night, such as I find myself struggling with frequently. Rarely is there a line that u would miserably have to wait in as they slowly trickle you in like many other clubs I’ve been to. They are quick and efficient to get you inside and enjoying their services. They have accommodated my service dog when needed, allowing for him to join me outside in the back area and also offer handicap accessible parking options along with accessible appropriate restrooms and entrances. Mobility limited handicaps will however be limited to lower levels only I believe and may find that inside tables might be a bit too tall for a wheelchair, but plenty of mobility options outside and always accommodating staff who are willing to offer assistance in any way possible. Lastly, I’m obsessed with the food trailer out front! They never disappoint and are perfect for when you’re needing to refuel your dance moves or for your drive home recovery indulgence! I typically tell ‘em to just surprise me when I order and I haven’t been let down yet! Hits the mark every time. In conclusion, you can’t go wrong with this dancehall! I would not recommend this bar to ANYONE! The place is very cool upon arrival but my group and I were quickly made aware of how poorly the bar is managed. A few people in our group had to use the bathroom, after using the bathroom we waited outside for the rest of our group to avoid being split up. We were approached by a supposed female “manager” who instead of simply asking us to move over a few feet, insisted on grabbing someone in our group and forcefully pushing us out of the way. While we tried to explain to her why we were waiting she took it as disrespect and kicked us out. We simply did not know we couldn’t stand there. It was not posted on a sign or anything for us to know. After looking into it a but more once we left we realized there are multiple BAD reviews about this lady. She reeked of alcohol and got in every member of our groups face as we were exiting to try and escalate the situation. For what reason? We have no idea, we were instructed to leave and thats exactly what we did. I would’ve loved to stay and enjoy the music and good paying customers who made the night memorable, but the poor management and the ego filled bar manager completely ruined it. I would not recommend this place to anyone, the headache of dealing with the below average management is not worth the over priced $9 shots that they offer. On a another note about ordering drinks. One of the bartenders took a picture of my card and when I asked him why, he got flustered and claimed he used the picture to see the numbers on my card because it was dark. This was my first time going to the Maverick’s venue in Buda. It’s a newer venue, and I loved how spacious the parking was. I’m so used to dealing with venues that cannot accommodate their customer size, causing their customers to park far and even in dirt lots.

We attended a Jon Wolfe concert, and when purchasing tickets, I messaged the venue regarding table pricing. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly they responded and provided a spot on recommendation. We purchased a package for two to sit along the dance floor. This was the first time I have seen a dance hall offer tickets for two people.

When we arrived, we went through the usual check in process - bouncer and verifying reservation with the front desk staff. We were then escorted by a nice gentleman to our seats. It was nice that they placed a “reserved” sign on our area, including my name. It was a nice personal touch and felt quite welcoming.

I interacted with other staff members, including the bartender, staff selling merchandise, and even the staff monitoring floor operations. Customer service was on point.

I will definitely visit this venue again. Great customer service. Respectable clientele. Spacious dance floor. Affordable drinks. What more could...
