This was by far, the WORST experience we have ever had at any Panda location! We walked in at 545pm. Prime time dinner hour right? Food in the warming trays looked like it had been sitting there since lunch. Just a note: there were no other customers in the restaurant. There were 2 cooks (one a manager?) And 2 servers who did not look very busy. We weren't offered a sample. Did Panda stop doing this? We expressed to the server that all the Beijing beef and steak (our 2 favorites) looked stale. She just stared at us instead of saying would you like for us to cook a fresh batch? The veggies looked brown and terrible and they tasted bad too. Portion sizes were third-world. We ordered the orange chicken and it was hard, dry and 90 %INEDIBLE. We took our food home which is 14 miles away. Wished we would have eaten in the restaurant. I would have taken it back. We always fill out our surveys and get a coupon code for a free entree the next time. I got to the end of the survey and instead of giving you a number to write down at the end, they now send it to you in an email. Well...when I entered in my email, it said NOT A VALID EMAIL. I entered all 3 of our household emails and and none of them worked. I called Buellton Panda to report the problem and ask for corporate number and a guy (the manager I think) with a heavy accent that I could barely understand said, I dont know the number, just look it up on Google. I was in charge of ordering food for a work event. I ordered well in advance, enough to feed 40 of my coworkers. The day I go to pick it up, the store is closed during hours of operation, a bad sign. I called the number online (it is well past 10:30am at this point, the food was set for pickup at this time), and was told they didn't have order because they were having "delivery issues" and that "someone should have called me".
I requested to speak with a manager, there was none on-site so I spoke to the person in (temporary) charge. I was told the same thing, that they were having delivery issues and that they didn't have enough space to even start making my order. I was very frustrated at this point and explained that someone should have called me, so that I would at least have enough time to place another order elsewhere for my coworkers.
All in all, I placed my order well in advance. Everyone seemed clueless about the order I placed. I ended up having to go back to my job and explain to everyone that the lunch we had promised them was not happening. The company I work for will certainly NOT be doing business with them...
Read moreThe service and food we recieved here was satifactory and infact quite nice however we recieved it in polystryine boxes which are distgusting not just to eat on but have an awful impact on the envirnment. In the UK serving food on plastic plates are simply not axcepable all UK fast food chains now serve their food on real plates or on paper plates. And now most UK music festivals have gone plastic free including Glastonbury which is one of the world's biggest music festivals. If they can do it with the amount of fast food stands they have surely you can. I know in America the climate crisis is really not covered by the media very well but what you need to know is it is simply not fair for your children's generation to still have to deal with the impact of your waist. And what makes this more embasising for you is that this review comes from a 16 year old who obviously has more envirnmental knowledge than your business.
