Good food but a bit pricey for my needs or maybe I just fed with my eyes again? Not sure.. 30 minute wait for my food wasn't ok for me either..
Got the Garlic Naan, the Chicken Tikki and Rice and I spend just about $17.00 on it. The guy who took my order wasn't really helpful - broken English but whatever I knew what I wanted just by the reviews. Thank you for that by the way because of it wasn't for it , I'd probably have a hard time ordering it. I got my food to go. I went here on my lunch break .. 45 minutes total. To get there , order it and bring back to the office only to get minutes to eat.. BARELY! I was lucky enough to extend my lunch break.
Anyways, I enjoyed the food very much. It kept me full pretty much all day. I don't know but it's almost af it was just stirring in my stomach for a long time as if it was having a hard time digest. lol!
Bonus: I could hear the cooks in the back and they were speaking Spanish so I didn't get a real feeling of it being Indian food either being in there. haha! Anyways, maybe next...
Read moreTraveling from NYC and it’s so good to have halal restaurants nearby your hotel. On the positive side, their food is good, I ordered Chicken Karahi (no plain rice was offered) Naan & Moghlai chicken Biryani (it’s regular Biryani, nothing special), no complimentary salad. I think in general, food is pricey in CA compared to NY. I’ve a lot to say about the restaurant itself…First I thought, the restaurant was closed while driving the area bcz lights were off and tables and chairs were folded, it looked like they were renovating this place. I’ve no other options for my halal food and I keep looking inside to figure out if it’s really close but luckily the door was open, I was able to get inside and ordered my food. Also it looked like a family owned business and they didn't care about customer service. One order of Biryani was served in two small boxes, I don’t know why and no spoons & forks were given. I asked for disposable plates, unfortunately they don’t give any. This place needs to upgrade 100% or close...
Read moreThis place is the absolute BEST if you love authentic Indian/Pakistani food. The service was very fast and amazing and the staff is very kind and friendly!
I started with the pakoras, which were crispy, perfectly spiced, and just the right way to starts things off as appetizers. But the real highlights for me were the biryani and chicken tikka masala my personal favorites! The biryani was packed with flavor and the tender meat and spices tasted amazing, I’m not exaggerating when I say this is definitely hands down the best biryani I have ever tasted. And the chicken tikka masala went perfect with their garlic naan honestly, I could eat it every day.
We also tried the nihari, the tender flavors literally melted in my mouth, the flavors were perfectly balanced and cooked and tasted like heaven when I ate it with the fluffy garlic naan.
If i could, i wouldn’t rate this place 5 stars, i would rate it 10!! If you’re thinking about trying their food. Just do it! You will not be...
