The name felt like calling you to fill in the blanks, and yes they did provide stuffs beyond coffee and hence why prolly. It’s either you paired your coffee with the sweets they sold, or even going for their signature drinks beyond coffee. Interestingly, they seemed to be popular for their cookies, banana pudding and particularly matcha.

Looking at all the ‘greenery’ either on their social media page, the reviews, and even live on site, it’s an absolute no brainer what to order.

Thanks to the attendant who was patient enough with the indecisive me in picking which of their matcha menu I should go for. My choice fell on their Banana Pudding Matcha, which was indeed more like a dessert drink, literally being matcha latte topped with their housemade banana pudding. I did think it’s a perfect choice if you wanna try their banana pudding, but also their drink and couldn’t commit to the whole portion of the dessert.

Trying it myself made me getting why their matcha was popular. It had that bold umami flavor, which you could kinda guess already from the color; actually nice pairing to the sweet and creamy banana pudding which balanced the overall taste and still let the green tea stood out.

My wife and I stopped by Coffee & and both got the Ube Matcha Latte, and man, this thing was absolutely killer. Easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere, and definitely top five in all of Orange County. The balance of flavors was perfect. The Ube wasn’t overpowering but had just the right amount of richness and that signature flavor that blended perfectly with the matcha. The matcha itself was super smooth, not bitter at all, and you could tell it was high quality. The sweetness was spot on too, not too much, just enough to make every sip feel refreshing and creamy. The cold foam on top was light, airy, and perfectly foamy, which made the whole drink even better. Beyond the drink, the overall vibe of the place was awesome. The staff and the girls working behind the counter were super sweet and welcoming, greeting every person who walked in with a smile. It’s rare to find a coffee shop that nails both the drinks and the customer experience, but Coffee & really does. The whole spot has a calm, cozy energy and you can tell everyone genuinely enjoys being there. I’m honestly still thinking about that Ube Matcha Latte. I have tried a lot of matchas, & Coffee & matcha latte is still my favorite, even after getting it nearly everyday since they opened! High quality, strong, bright green matcha & I love that they put a lot of matcha so you can taste it (versus a lot of other places use very little matcha & it just tastes like milk). The new banana pudding matcha latte is amazing, with real bananas! Banana cream matchas are a trend nowadays & theirs is the best I have tried by far. It's more of a thicker pudding than a cream which I love. I also love the matcha einspanner (matcha latte with cream top) & matcha cloud (matcha latte with matcha cream top).

The chestnut praline & pistachio are some of my favorite of their syrups, & they also make the perfect Nola iced coffee (cold brew with chicory syrup - flavorful, refreshing, not too sweet), which they call their Signature coffee. Their matcha, coffee, & all the ingredients are good quality, you can taste the difference.
