Tony's Pizza Cafe — Restaurant in Buffalo Township

Just tried Tony's Pizza Cafe in Sarver for the first time! This was the most PERFECT pepperoni pizza I have ever tried. Made from scratch, fresh, just the right amount of cheese, and a fresh, sweet tomato sauce. The crust isn't very yeasty, which I actually like.

I got the chicken parm (they were out of eggplant). It came with house made fresh spaghetti (lovely texture on it, and again that sauce is delightful). I was also excited that the chicken was fresh, tender, and hand-breaded. Came with some breadsticks (same recipe as the pizza dough, I think) which is good because the sauce isn't super thick, so I'll be scooping up with the bread. Also, the side salad was chock full of toppings, all prepped in house and not from a bag or pre-mix.

We did take-out but waited in the dining room and it's really, really clean inside! It's a family owned business and you can feel the love, time and attention that go into making it a great place. They also have a big menu and pizza by the slice!

I was a little anxious going in since I hadn't been there before and wasn't sure of their ordering process, but was made to feel comfortable and welcome by all of the staff I interacted with.

My family just left this establishment after enjoying a few incredible slices of pizza, with complimentary donuts from the owner. Not only was he helping the front-of-the-house staff when we walked in. He noticed us with our 3 young boys and immediately handed us these scrumptious donuts to occupy them while the pizza was cooking. Small acts of kindness like that are what make this world go around, or at least my world go around. After a very long couple of days, his act of kindness meant the world to me. This was our 3rd time visiting, as we live 45 minutes away. We will be sure to frequent it as much as we can when in town.

They have delicious well developed flavor in all of their menu items. The ravioli, godfather sub, spaghetti and meatballs, barbecue pizza, plain cheese pizza, grandmom pizza to name a few items that are not to be missed. They have not slipped as a prior reviewer stated. If you can recognize that they have a superior chef and kitchen staff to all of the other Italian restaurants, in not just the immediate but surrounding area, then you need to have your taste buds checked.
