IN FULL HONESTY THE FOOD Looked Great. But I didn't get to try it.

I ordered two sandwiches and one order of fries from Mr. Sizzles on May 15th. It was a pickup order. I requested that my burger be made without cheese because of my milk allergies and only one order of fries. The bill was pretty pricy.

My burger came with tons cheese on it, and even though I was tired and hungry, I returned to Mr.Sizzles and asked for a refund. At the time, the woman at the counter seemed like she was to bizzy to assist with the refund with only 4 customers and an empty bar. She reached out to management.. or "the owner of the bar" (who's office is located to the right of the front counter).

Apparently he couldn't help so the chef (who made the sandwich) stepped forward and took my name and number and assured me a refund.

After two days and no callback or refund on my card, I returned to Mr.Sizzles to again ask for a refund recipt in hand.

The same woman at the counter from the first encounter, just stood there in awe after hearing that my refund was never received. She proceeds into the owners office again, and yet again says that he can't do anything at the moment because the systems are down. I was advised to come back later and so I did.

When I arrived back at Mr.Sizzles I was finally able to speak to somone frommanagement. He assured me that the refund was done and it would take a few days to show up on my account.

On the 25th of May, I found myself BACK AT MR.SIZZLES. Instead of coming in, I called management to discuss different options because at this point I'd rather them just make me a meal without cheese so I can move on with my life.

THE MAN GOT ON THE PHONE, HE SWORE UP AND DOWN THAT I WAS GOING TO GET A REFUND AND A $25 GIFT CARD. HE PROMISED ME A GREAT TIME IF I EVER CAME FOR DRINKS, HE GAVE THE BIGGEST RUN DOWN.

and I'm here Today is a month after the initial purchase. I've relieved $0.00 in Refund, Giftcard, Nothing So they get a 1 star rating ill never ever in my life even think of maybe thinking of going to this place ever again. The service is BOTTOM OF THE...

A few notes after eating here for the first time last night, service is great. A few mistakes were made with our order (which was a large order and no one is perfect), but they were corrected very quickly, so I'm definitely not mad. The food was very tasty. The Bourboun & Cream Ice Cream Cocktail was SOOOO good. The reason I have this review at 4 stars instead of 5 is solely due to a note of contention at our table: for those of us that got burgers with pickles, we were hugely disappointed that the pickles were bread & butter (ie, sweet) pickles. I really have never understood what the fascination is with WNY people and sweet pickles on savory dishes (looking at you sweet relish). The pickles weren't bad, but I do not get a burger (or ANY sandwich-type food for that matter) and want a sweet pickle (or sweet relish) on it. I'll never be that person, and I'm sure there are many others that agree with me. It's dill pickles or bust (sour, garlicky & salty, my dudes) when it comes to a burger. For those of you on the dill-or-bust bus with me reading this, beware. For the restaurant owners, I recommend putting a note on future versions of the menu or just switching to dill pickles, which is what the general person would naturally expect anyway when ordering a burger with pickles. If there was some notice posted anywhere in the restaurant that I overlooked, I apologize, but it was a really disappointing surprise when I bit into my burger. Yes, I did end up removing them from the burger entirely, but now I have a dill pickle slice-sized hole in my heart from the loss.

TL;DR - Everything (food/drinks/service) was great, except they use sweet AKA bread & butter pickles for their sandwiches, NOT dill, which was hugely disappointing for this dill...

Mister Sizzle’s is hands down the best comfort food spot in Buffalo! Every time I travel to Buffalo, this is my first stop when I arrive and my last stop before I leave—I just can’t get enough. I make multiple visits during my trips, and for good reason!

Their burgers are incredibly savory, the chicken nuggets are top-tier, and the Big Parm sandwich is absolutely phenomenal. The French fries are crispy and flavorful, and they have a large selection of dipping sauces—my personal favorites are the hot honey and OG sauce. I recently tried their Thin Sizzy Sliders, and they are out of this world! I could easily eat 10 of them.

The atmosphere is warm, lively, and always bustling. There’s a bar inside, and while the space isn’t huge (seating around 30 people), it adds to the cozy and energetic vibe. The service is generally fast, but during peak times, there can be a wait.

They offer a great variety of comfort food—burgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders/nuggets, mac & cheese, milkshakes, and more. It’s also kid-friendly. Plus, you can even grab some Mister Sizzle’s merch while you’re there! The prices are reasonable, which makes it even better.

The only downside is parking—it’s street parking only, and since it’s downtown Buffalo, it can be a challenge. But honestly, the food is worth the effort! Highly recommend checking this place out.
